Just starting off... (Pokèmon Fanfic)

Chapter Six

Two months past from that incident and no sign of Team Rocket.  I've gotten 3 badges, Cerulean, Vermilion, and Celdon, Flare evolved into Charizard, and I figured an alternative way to get to get back to Pewter without Flying or going through Mt. Moon.  My team consists of Flare(of course), Hitmonchan, Jolteon, Pidgeot, Dragonair, and Nidorino.  I've defeated a new rival that acts like Blue (whom I've only heard of) and Gary named Sean.

I was entering the town of Fuchsia City and I saw a familiar face.

"Yo Axle," I yell from the crowd. He turns around and smiles as he sees me.

"Hey, how have you been?" he asks.

"Good, how 'bout you?"

"Great, I have five badges!"

"Nice, I have three."

"Hey, I just defeated the Fuchsia Gym Leader, Koga. Poison Types don't work against me. Why don't we have a battle?"

"Great idea," I yell. "This will be the battle that I will use to test my ability."

The battle begins with my Dragonair and his Rhydon.

"Dragonair, use Surf!" I yell.

"Rhydon, use Dig!" He said.

Dragonair used the water move and right before it hit the ground type, he did into the dirt. 

"Dragonair, in the hole then use Hydro Pump!"  Dragonair dived into the hole and, all I saw was a fish of water come out this side.

"Horn Drill," Axle said.  This could end badly.

"Dragonair, out quickly!" I yell. 

Dragonair came out on Rhydon's horn.  "Hydro Pump below you!"  Dragonair aimed at the ground and ground type and fired.  There was a big splash and Dragonair jumped onto our side of the field.  Rhydon was left down and out.

Axle sent out a Poliwhirl. He instantly told it to use Ice Beam. The pokèmon formed a light blue ball in between it's hands. It zoomed straight toward Dragonair.

"Dodge," I yell. The snake Pokèmon moves out of the way, but Poliwhirl moves where the beam is aiming. The beam of ice hits Dragonair, freezing it in it's place.

"Now focus punch," Axle says. The ball like pokèmon charged it's arm up. Dragonair didn't move. The move hit and sent my pokèmon to lalaland.

I grabbed my Jolteon's pokeball and tossed him out. Jolteon's speed outdoes Poliwhirl plus his super effective moves are perfect. I tell Jolteon to use Thunder Fang. His teeth turned yellow with electricity. Jolteon lunged toward Poliwhirl at supersonic speed and bite the opponent. Axle's pokèmon lay there, fainted.

Axle sent out Golem, which I knew I couldn't take on with Jolteon.  "Jolteon, return," I yell at the yellow, spiky haired pokèmon.  I aimed the poke ball's center at it and a red beam enveloped Jolteon and he was gone.  "Hitmonchan, let's go."

A human like pokèmon with boxing gloves for fists appears from the pokeball I threw.  It gets into a boxer's stance, ready for any command I give.  "Use Mach Punch," I say.  The fighting pokèmon then disappears before my eyes.

"Roll out of the way," Axle said.  Golem got into it's rock shell and started to roll to dodge my Hitmonchan. "Now Stone Edge." The big ball of rock stomped it's foot on the ground and spikes shot up from the ground, destroying my pokèmon. I returned my heart broken pokèmon and grabbed another.

I grabbed my Nidorino and told it to use toxic. An area of the ground underneath Golem turned a deep purple. I saw Golem's face turn purple, which means that it was successfully poisoned.
