31 - The Decision

"Are you seriously considering on working here?" Nads said that made me shift my gaze to her, from where I'm standing I could see how our people work at the brewery.

"Would I be an asset here?" I seriously asked and she let out a small laugh.

"Yon, have you forgotten what Mom and Dad told us? Since day one this company has been under our name, that's how they're confident that we can run this, that's how they trust us." she lovingly said. "Are you afraid of what'll be the effect  on your career once you decide to come out?" she asked. I looked at her with all sincerity and shook my head.

"No." I simply answered. "I'm more afraid of what Glai would feel once I come out. How she'll handle the people who'll judge us of being us. She'll worry more for me than for herself." I confessed.

"That's why you're quitting showbiz..." she said as if not asking. I simply nod while smiling at her. She came
closer and wrapped her arm around my waist while I raised my arm over her shoulder and rested my head on hers.

"I'd rather live a quiet life with her, away from this noisy world than to be in the limelight but with all the controversies that we'll be facing. that would be tiring, don't you think?" I asked her.

"It's up to you, Lil sis. You know that we're always here to support you." she said. "Did you tell that to her?" she asked.

"Not yet, Nads. Alam niya how I love my work and how this has been my life."

"Then you better have a serious talk with her about it. It's no longer your decision, Yon. It will be both of you, it started when you said your I dos." she said while gently tapping my side. "You've really grown up, Lil Sis."

Glaiza

"Love?" rinig kong malambing na tawag ni Rhian sa akin habang nakahiga kami sa kama. Masuyo ko siyang hinahaplos sa braso at naglalaro ang isang kamay ko sa kanyang likod.

"Hmmm" tanging sagot ko habang nakapikit.

"I will call for a meeting with my staff and the admin of my supporters...." nasabi niya.

"Lagi mo namang ginagawa yon di ba?" sagot ko.

"I'll tell them about us." mahina niyang tugon at nagulat ako. Humiwalay ako sa kanya at tiningnan siyang mabuti sa mga mata.

"Bakit?"

"Anong bakit?"tanong niya pabalik

"Mk, hindi ka ba nabibigla?" paalala ko.

"Why would I? I mean Love, it's been what? Months? I already finished my projects and my contract is about to expire. I don't have any plan of renewing it."

"Bakit ngayon mo lang sinasabi ito?" tanong kong nabigla sa mga tinuran niya.

"I've been thinking about this for quite some time. And besides people are speculating that there is something between us. We neither denied nor confirmed. We agreed on that, didn't we?" balik niya at hindi ako nakapag salita. Mula ng ikasal kami ay madalas na rin kaming nakikita ng publiko na magkasama kahit na grupo kami kung lumakad. Ang mga reporters na nagtatanong sa amin ay iisang sagot lang ang laging tugon ni Rhian. "Told you guys, we'll be inseparable." Kaya naging maugong ang balitang may namamagitan sa aming dalawa. Ngunit ngiti lang ang kaya kong isagot at si Rhian ay ganon din. Kapag nakulitan at nagtaray matipid lang ang kanyang sagot "What you see is what you get."
