Lilly's POV
"lilly hun, wake up!" shouted aimee the head careworker from downstairs. "im up, I'm up, ive been up ages!" I lied... I quickly jumped out off bed and ran over to my wardrobe. I then pulled out, some light blue joni jeans, a white belly top and my superstars. I then ran over to my desk and put my hair in French plats, and basic makeup! that includes- foundation, concelear and powder, then a smokey eye and m.a.c lipstick! in the shade- 'only you'.
Just as im about to run downstairs, my phone beeps, it's a message from Kayleigh! Ugh let's just say she hates me! I Ignored the text and ran downstairs, I don't know why I have my hopes up? No one wants to adopt a 12 year old!
After about 40 minutes of couples entering and choosing the little kids, a women walks in, my eyes go fuzzy then I know! THATS ZOELLA MY IDOL! Keep cool, keep cool Lilly! I thought to myself, she's probably not here to adopt you anyway!
I was wrong, she skips over holding Alfie's hand, "hello sweetie" she says, I'm gobsmacked and the only words I can make out is "hi"
We talk for 20 more minutes then she says these 5 words which I've been wanting to hear for the last 8 years...."we want to adopt you" Zoe says sweet and kindly with Alfie nodding.
