Chapter 10 - The 2nd Proposal

Present Day

Stefan's P.O.V

Everyone is going crazy. Even The Originals are freaking out. Which is slightly weird. Why would they care about Elena and Bonnie?
"Hello Earth to Stefan." Caroline said waving her hand in my face.
"Sorry. What were you saying?" I say shaking my head.
"Have you heard anything we've been saying mate?" Enzo asked from the sofa across from us.
"No. Sorry." I say lamely.
"Fine. We'll go over it all again." Damon growls at me. And we all go over the plan to get the girls back.

With Elena and Bonnie 1 week later

Kol's P.O.V

Tonight Bonnie and I are going on a date. It has been a week since Nik proposed to 'Lena. And tonight was the night I proposed to Bonnie Bennet. I had a ring. Bekah, 'Lijah, Nik and 'Lena all know but Bon doesn't know 'cause that would ruin the surprise.
"Bon. You nearly ready to go?" I shout from behind the door.
"Bugger off Kol. She be out when she's bloody ready." Bekah shouted through the door. Causing everyone to laugh.
"I'm nearly done Kol. I promise. In fact..." Bonnie replied as she walked out of the door. "I am done." She said as my jaw dropped. She was wearing a beautiful floor length cream dress that was fitted to her slender body perfectly.
"Oh my god. Y-you look a-amazing." I stutter making her, Bekah and 'Lena laugh.
"Why thank you kind sir. You look pretty good yourself." She replied with a fake southern accent. Which she nailed. I laughed quietly holding out my left arm for her to take.
"Lets go." I said as she waved goodbye to the girls. We laced our fingers together and walked out of the building.
At the end of dinner I took Bonnie's hand and I knelt down next to her on the floor.
"Bonnie Bennet. Will you make me the happiest man 'alive' and be my wife?" I said making quotation marks around the word alive causing her to laugh.
"Yes" She whispered so quietly I almost didn't catch it. "Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes." She said louder than before. Then she kissed me as I put the ring on her finger. We walked back to our house with our fingers laced in a comfortable silence. When we reached the house (we have an actual home now with our own rooms) I tried to rush Bonnie past Bekah with out her seeing us but I was too slow.
"Bonnie is coming with me Bekah." I growl at her.
"No Kol. If Nik and I couldn't be alone when we got engaged, you can't be alone with Bonnie." Elena snarls at me. While Nik walks up behind her laughing at me before wrapping his arm around her waist. I growl at Elena.
"Hey don't growl at my fiancée." Nik snarls at me.
"Shut it Nik." Bekah, Elena and I growl. Nik immediately backs away removing his arm from Elena's waist before going and Standing next to Elijah. Bonnie was glaring at me. I just blanked her glare and that caused her glare to harden.
"Y'know what. Bekah, Elena. I will come with you." Bonnie snarled and Bekah and Elena smiled triumphantly. They looped their arms through Bonnie's and led her to Bekah's room.
"No. Bon. Wait. Please. Bonnie." I whined but she responded by slamming the door in my face. I could hear Elena, Nik, Bekah and Elijah snickering so I growled and stalked off to my room.

Bonnie's P.O.V

Wow. Kol gave up easier than I thoughy he would.
"So Bonnie what kind of dress are you having?" Bekah questioned hopefully.
"Y'know what Beks. I'm going to go extravagant." I say and Bekah's face lit up with excitement.
"Really? You're not just teasing me? You really want an extravagant dress?" Bekah asked hopefully her eyes still gleaming with excitement.
"Yeah Beks. I really do. I'm not messing with you." I promise and she practically launches herself at me pulling me into a bone crushing hug. And Elena has to come and peel her off me.

When we finally get Bekah off me we sat down on the bed and discussed wedding plans until Nik came to take Elena back to their shared room. Then a few minutes later Kol came in and asked me if I would stay in his room with him.
"Sure Kol." I was still slightly mad but I had mostly gotten over it. So Kol took this opportunity to toss me gently over his shoulder and carry me to his room.
"Kol. Put me down." I giggled as I smashed my fists against his back lightly.
"Nope." He said as we reached his room. When we were stood infront of the door, he placed me on the floor and opened the door before gesturing for me to walk in. He walked in after me closing the door softly beforw speaking.
"Bonnie. Look I'm-" He said but I cut him off by kissing him. He deepened the kiss. We separated to pull our clothes off and we fell under the covers on the bed...

And we all know what happened next

Elena's P.O.V

"Nik." I say as we walk into his room.
"Hmmm." He replies removing his clothes and putting a pair of pyjama bottoms on to sleep in. I follow in suit donning a thin silk nighty.
"I have a wedding related question." I say as he grabs me by the waist and carries me to the bed lying down with my head on his chest and him stroking my long straight hair.
"Go on." He says before kissing my forehead lightly.
"What do you think about a double wedding with Kol and Bonnie?" I ask as he yet again kisses my forehead.
"I think that that is a great idea. And that you are amazing." He whispers in my ear making me shiver. I turn around pinning him to the bed before kissing him deeply. He returns the kiss eagerly and begins to pull off his trousers and I pull back to pull of my nighty and soon we are just lying there in our underwear.

And well you all know what happened next.
