Minecraft life of a miner

I'm a miner and when I woke up in a new land I instantly made a crafting table and a pick. Most of you know about creepers and skeletons I hate them so much and that's why I'm a miner to try and avoid them but if I don't light up a cave or around a cave they most likely will sneak up on me. And I'll loose my iron, gold, redstone and maybe even my diamonds.

When I start mining I try to get coal. If I can't find coal I'll just make charcoal. If I don't have time for charcoal I'll mine in the dark for all I care. most likely I mine without torches or I'll keep a few until I find ore then I'll light it up to get that ore. What I mean is I light up where or is to see it then take my torch back.

I have lots of reasons why I hate creepers and skeletons. The creepers blow up and sometimes blow up ore. The skeletons shoot and and it gets annoying cause you can find them and when you the they keep shooting and knock you back. But if a skeleton kills a creeper the creeper will drop a music disc an those are rare.
