'This is so boring' I thought as I looked out the window of the plane. "Mom, why did we have to leave Los Angeles?" I asked, as she watched a movie next to me. "We are leaving, so we can start over, sweetie. Don't worry, you'll love it in Lawrence, Kansas. Plus, you get to start school next week, aren't you excited?" She asked, looking over at me, smiling. "Yeah, I guess.... I mean, I'm still going to miss LA..." I replied, my voice trailing off slightly, as I looked out the window again. "Cheer up, sweetie! We are almost there," she said, looking back at the movie. "Yeah...." I mumbled, as I closed my eyes and leaned back in the seat. 'I'm gonna get some sleep...' I thought, as I drifted off into a restless slumber.
