Twenty: Picture Perfect

SaiIno...20 Questions???

Sai and Ino are walking through the outskirts of the village on their way to deliver a scroll for the upcoming Chunin exams.

Ino keeps glance over at Sai thinking about what Sakura said.

"Damn you forehead." she mutters. Sai looks over at her, "You say something beautiful?" She blushes a bit but says, "No nothing. Thinking out loud."

Sai ponders for a minute, "Hey beautiful. If you don't mind me asking, when is your birthday?" Ino looks at him strangely, "September 23th. Why?"

Sai shakes his head, "Just wanted to know more about you. I mean...you know...as a friend...I mean.,,comrade. Yeah. Shino said I should always get to know more about my comrades."

Ino deadpans, "Yeah...that's Shino for ya."

"I didn't mean any harm beautiful. It's just that the only two things I know about you are your name and that you're beautiful."

Ino blushes b fore Sai realizes what he said. He blushes and looks away scratching the back of his head. Ino glances over at him, "So...uh...when is...your birthday...Sai-kun?"

Sai shyly looks over and mumbles, "November 25th."

Ino's eyes widen, "Wait...I'm older than you? Woohoo!!" She cheers making Sai scowl but the chuckles at her antics.

"What's your favorite color?"

"Oh. It's violet. And yours?"

"Never really thought about it but I guess you can say black. It makes me look and feel mysterious." he says doing a hand gesture. Ino giggles again.

"How about favorite foods and jutsus?"

"Oh. I love mini tomatoes. And...what? Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Isn't that Sasuke's favorite food?"

"Yeah but this conversation isn't about him. It's about me and you." Ino stops and blushes at the part 'me and you'.

She recovers and continues, "I love my clan's jutsu but there are some out there that are awesome. Like your super beast scroll and Naruto's Rasenshurken. Also, Kakashi sensei's Lightning Blade is hardcore. How about you?"

Sai nods, "Yeah those jutsus are all great. If I had your clan jutsu mixed with Hinata's Byakugan and Shikamaru's mind and clan jutsu, I'd be nearly impossible to beat. Plus, had I been a Jinchuriki like Naruto, who knows what I'd be capable of."

"Speaking of which, what are your chakra natures?"

Ino counts on her hand, "okay there's some earth release. I can use water release. I think my dad said something about yin and yang but I'm not sure if I can use those as of yet. You?"

"I actually can use yang relapease but not yin. Also I'm good with fire release. And just like you, I can use earth and water as well. That kinda makes us a perfect match doesn't it?"

Ino blushes at his statement, "Yeah...I...g...guess it does."

Sai immediately recognizes his mistake. "Wait...I didn't mean it like that...I uh..."

He stops talking and they walk in silent for a while.

Ino takes a deep breath, "Sai-kun?"

Sai looks at her.

"A...about...what happened...at the...hospital."

Sai's eyes widen and he dodges the conversation, "Uh...hey...look at that...the bridge is out."

They reach a bridge that has been destroyed so Sai uses his super beast scroll to fly them across. Ino seems a bit exhausted so Sai slows down his bird's flight so she can rest a bit.

As she sleeps, Sai takes in all of her beauty. He pulls out his sketch pad and begins the draw Ino as she rests. She stirs a bit making Sai realize he'd been staring at her for quite some time. He looks down a notices that he had been done with his drawing of her for a while. He smiles at the portrait and writes a message at the bottom before closing his pad.

Ino shivers from the cool winds, so Sai shifts her towards himself and lies her head on his lap with her face upward. She opens her eyes for a split second giving him a sleepy smile and turns to get more comfortable wrapping her arms around one of his.

Sai smiles but then a frowns immediately forms on his face as he constantly argues with himself mentally.

'Don't get excited. Pleeeeeeeeease don't get excited. Be dickless. Like Naruto. Yeah. What would Naruto do? Then again he's a perv so he'd probably feel her up. She does have a nice size rack...what the hell am I thinking?!'

Sai facepalm a himself leaving a mental note...NEVER THINK LIKE NARUTO WHEN IT COMES TO GIRLS!!!!!
