Hey! Thank you for reading my story and I hope every potterhead can read it. Well why don't we start our fan fiction :)

Year 1

Hermione's POV

As I woke up for my 11th birthday I heard my parents arguing about something.

"She's not going to that school. What will others think about it?"

"I don't care what others think about it. We'll tell them she went to a school in Manchester or something."

"That's smart"

"Whats going on?" I asked to both of my parents as I walked or let's say skipped down the stairs.

"Darling" my mother said.

"You were accepted to a school of magic." My father said.

"Magic?" What? That couldn't be true. But magic. It wasn't real. I read a story about this but it said it wasn't true but I don't know now. Merlin the wizard was he real than? Never mind. Concentrate to the present Hermione I said to myself.

"Hermione dear? If you don't want to-"

"No. No. I do!" I shouted to my parents.

"You do?" they both asked in shock.

"Yes." I said and this time I knew that I was determined in my answer.

"Okay. It says school starts on September 1st. We'll need to go to King Cross station and your train will depart on platform 9 3/4. What?"

That was odd. 9 3/4. But how do you get there? I asked to myself.

"We'll find about that later." My dad said confused.

"It says that after we reply we'll get the list of your supplies and you'll have to buy them from Diagon Alley." He continued.

"Where is this Diagon Alley?" My mother asked to my dad.

"I don't know either" he replied.

"But I am going to this school of magic, right?" I questioned them.

"Yes" they said both looking excited.

"Okay" I said.

After this little chat I walked to the kitchen to grab some cereals but instead there was a cupcake that had a candle on it.

"Is this for me?" I looked shocked at them.

"Isn't it your birthday honey? Of course it's yours" My dad said and they both came next to me and hugged me.

"Make a wish Mione" my mother said.

As I closed my eyes I thought of a wish I could ask for. And it came to me. I wanted to be happy at my new school and make new friends. I blew my candle and hugged my parents.

Days past and I got frustrated about Hogwarts (my school of magic). My parents had already arranged the trip to the center of London. After I got dressed up I ran down the stairs to see my parents waiting for me.

"We're really going then?" I asked to both of them.

"Indeed" my mother said with a wide grin across her face.

As we got nearer to the center my heart beat got faster. At last we came after a exhausting 48 minutes. We parked a car and started to walk. Where was this Diagon Alley? We were getting lost in the crowds of the shops and all of these people around us. I saw a woman and a boy who were arguing about something.

"Mam pardon me. But where is this Diagon Alley?" I asked looking frustrated.

"Dear. Oh dear. Lovely little girl aren't you? Are you a muggle-born?" she looked as though I sad an insult our a bad word.

"A what?" what was a muggle-born anyway?

"I see you are. Me and my grandson Neville will be going there. Before something happens a muggle-born is a witch or wizard who's parents do not have magical powers. And this magical world should not be told to muggles. It will be very bad" She said and started to show the road to Diagon Alley.

"Um- okay" I replied and followed her. My parents looked at me with a shocked look and I just told them to follow this old lady.

We went in to a pub I didn't even know.

"Follow me. Follow me" she said.

I thought she was mad but for some reason I followed her. We arrived to a room that I didn't know that existed. It had rather large bricks and a canvas next to the wall.

"Now you wait here" she said.

And Neville walked away so she could do something. Suddenly she took out a stick and tapped the bricks with a order and out of nowhere a magical door appeared.

"Would you like to do your shopping with us?" she asked.

My parents shrugged and they both said

"Why not?"

We walked through the doors and came to a room or what ever it was that was full of shops, people who were wearing robes and all sort of noises.

"Will you be starting this year?" the old lady asked.

"Yes." I said with a unnoticed scared tone.

"My dear grandson Neville will too. Where are my manners? I am Mrs. Longbottom. A very old witch."

"No you aren't, miss."

"Thanks dear but I am indeed very old. And who are you by the way?"

"Hermione Granger. Nice to meet you Mrs. Longbottom"

"Nice to meet you to Hermione dear"

We walked. My parents started to feel a liking against Mrs. Longbottom and immediately they started to talk leaving me and Neville petrified.

"Um-hi" Neville said looking at me.

"Hi" I said.

"Do you know anything about magic?" he asked.

"Not much. You?" I asked.

"Nothing more than you. Do you have a pet to bring?"

"We can bring pets?!" I asked and it was almost the bet thing ever. Except me being a witch or wizard. What ever it was.

After all of the buying and all of the nice talks we (my parents, Neville, Mrs. Longbottom and I) sit in a teashop near the bank. And it's so cool that they have this bank were every family has their own volt and stuff. And I got my own volt now. By the helps of Mrs. Longbottom. And we exchanged some of our pounds in to galleons and what were the other money names? Never mind.

After a couple of hours my parents finally said that we should get back to home.

"Bye. Mrs. Longbottom"

"Bye. Hermione"

As we walked something hit me.

"Mrs. Longbottom!" I shouted.

"How do we get to this platform 9 3/4?" I asked.

"Just walk through the wall between platforms 9 and 10. You'll get there" she said.

"Um-thanks" I replied.

"Yes yes. See you soon" she said and i nodded.

It was going to be fun.
