I woke up to the sound of birds chirping, wind blowing, and the leaves on the tree rustling. I sat up straight on my bed looking outside my window that's to the right of me. "Ugh what a beautiful day today is gonna be. I should walk around and maybe meet a friend," I get out of my bed, exit my bedroom and walk towards my kitchen. As I'm walking to the kitchen I notice how cold my apartment was then I noticed that I left the window open, oh well. I'm in the kitchen brewing myself a warm cup of coffee, the coffee finishes brewing, I grab it, cupping it in between my hands. I'm instantly become warm feeling the heat radiating from the coffee to the cup and on my hands. Making me forget about the cold atmosphere earlier. I plop down in my couch, turn on the tv, pull my phone out and relax.
As I'm scrolling down the screen and sipping my coffee enjoying my pleasant morning I spit out my coffee spraying it all over my carpet floor maybe staining it. "GOD FUCKING DAMMIT I TOTALLY FORGOT!" I throw my phone on the couch slam down the cup of coffee on my coffee table and run into my room. I rip off my pj's off my body and run to my closet rummaging through my clothes to find my school uniform. "How could I forget I'm such I fucking idiot!"
As I'm scolding my self I find my uniform, I put in on not even bothering to button up my jacket. I run to the bathroom and brush my teeth, I don't even consider to brush my hair, I brag my phone and bag, slip my shoes on, lock the door and start sprinting to the train station. I get to the station and see a train that was headed to another station that was close enough to my school where I could run to it. I enter the train and not even seconds later I am bombarded by businessmen and women who seem to be in a rush as well. I check the time on my phone and find out I only have 35 minutes to get to school, not bad. I used to run track so running to the school in time for class wouldn't be a problem. I reach my destination and try to exit the train but these dumbasses decide to leave all at once creating a jam at the exit, and guess what, I'm in the middle of this traffic jam. "UGH I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS!!!!"
I start throwing elbows and the men and women around me not caring is their ok or not. I squeeze out of the chaos, take a deep breath and start running. I check my phone and see I have 20 minutes left, wow only 15 minutes went by, heh I have a lot more time than I thought. Then as I was starting to pick up speed I crash into a couple of kids and their parents. Well I just hit the kids not the parents. "Oh my god I'm so sorry,"
"Jackson, Millie, you ok?" The mom ask her kids
"Young woman what where you thinking running around like that. Watch out where you're going next time. You're not the only one who lives on this planet. People got things to do you know bla bla bla..." the man lectures me as I'm trying to apologize and leave the scene but it's not happening. Eventually the couple let me go, I say sorry and continue running. I check my phone to see what the time is and HOLY SHIT I ONLY HAVE 10 MINUTES! "Fucking stupid couple and their stupid faces and GAH I'M TO PISSED TO THINK RIGHT NOW!"
Luckily I can see the gate to my school, 7 minutes. I run through the open gate sighing as the sweet relief of not-being-late washed over me. 4 minutes, I'm running up the stairs, and of course my class is on one of the highest levels of the school. 2 minutes, yes I can see the door. I'm so close, but as I'm running I can hear the teacher say roll call and my name is coming up, crap. 1 min " And is miss (L/N) here?" Asked the teacher, no one knew who she was due to her being the new student. "Guess not," he sighed.
Right before he was about to write me up as late I burst into the classroom.
"*huff* I'm *puff*...my god," I wheeze as I try to speak, while leaning on the door. I walk to my desk in the back right of the room, before I sit down I say " I'm here, miss (L/N) (F/N)," then I take my seat.
"Ok good we have everyone here, let's start the lesson. Oh wait I forgot to mention, she's our new student. Everybody looks at me, I wave. The teacher nodded and continues his lesson. I rest my head on my hand and look out the window and think to myself "This is gonna be a long year,"
