It's not often where you can find someone or something that interests you in the way a good question or riddle does, but if you can is it worth figuring out. It was a shadowy day somewhat like the sun disappeared. I was just walking home from school trying not to drop my books when I had to pull down my skirt from the frequent gust of wind. I had not only been studying for a huge exam coming up but slowly been losing focus from all the studying. I was almost home when this huge gust of wind blew up my skirt and I tried to fix it not seeing where I was going, when stumbled and knocked into the person coming the opposite direction.
"Oh my god I'm so sorry" I exclaimed stumbling to pick up everything I had unfortunately dropped all over the guy that I bumped into. "Oh I'm sorry, here let me help you" stutters the boy, they both looked up and when they made eye contact they both froze, the world around them had stopped moving it was just him and her. " I don't think I have seen you around here before are you new". " I'm yeah I had just moved In down the street a couple of blocks, I'm just trying to get to know the area better, I'm Ian by the way, nice to meet you". Says the boy excitingly. " I'm Chloe, and I have lived here pretty much my whole life I can show you around if you'd like"the girl says with a grin on her face. " alright here is my number feel free to call whenever " the boy says with integrity.
Chloe and Ian walk together down the road for a bit till they get to Chloe's house " Hey thanks for walking me home Ian ". "Wait this is where you live, cause I live right across the road " . "That's crazy, I can't believe I haven't I haven't notice you before". The two walk home to the separate houses one walking in two an empty one and another walking in to greet their step-father.
"Hey Chloe how was school" exclaimed the man sitting in the recliner watching the game. "Good I'm going to head up to my room and get my home work done". "Ok have fun"chuckled the man. Chloe ran upstairs but not to do home work, she turned up her radio open the window and snuck out. She climbed atop the roof and hoped down to the roof of a car that was a work in progress but never got worked on, after that she hoped down once more to the pavement and continued to walk down the sidewalk.
"Where you heading" said Ian across the road from atop the the hood of his car. Nearly jumped out of her skin Chloe replied swiftly with " I'm just heading to town". " Do you need a ride" Ian asked politely. " Sure it beats walking there" grinned Chloe. Ian slid of the hood and open up the door of the old blue mustang and climbed atop the antique leather seat and started the engine. Chloe came in soon afterward. The old mustang was soon rolling down the road heading towards town. "So where do you usually go here". "I usually go around to the shops and look around as long as I get back before dinner, but there is this really nice ice cream parlor place if you would like to go". "Sure that would be cool " said Ian excited.
The old car finally pulled into the parking lot of the ice cream parlor and Ian slid out of the car asking Chloe to wait in the car, he said that he'd buy. Ian ran inside and soon came out with a cone and handed it to Chloe. "Thank you" Chloe said with a kind voice. Out of nowhere Ian said" can I show you something cool ". Surprised Chloe mumbled yes and without hesitation Ian reversed the car and started driving to the outskirts of town. "Where are we going" Chloe asked with a questioning voice. Ian didn't say a word. The car was quiet till it pulled to a stop Ian opened the door and got out of the car he walked over to the edge of what seemed to be a cliff and sat down dangling his legs off the edge. "They say you can see the whole city from here". " it's beautiful" Chloe said in awe. " mhmm" Ian mumbled . Ian looked at Chloe and she happened to be look omg back at him. Starring deeply into each others eyes seeing they're own reflection stare at them.
"You have some ice cream on your cheek" said Ian. "Where" wondered Chloe. That's when Ian leaned in and kissed Chloe, she wanted to pull away from shock but it seemed right not to, after he was done he glanced at his watch and saw the time. "Oh shit, I have to get you home for dinner Ian jumped up to his feet and walked to the car getting in and Erving he engine. Chloe went along to but was in a trance trying to figure out what just happened. Ian stopped his car out front by his house and looked at Chloe. "I had fun tonight" said Ian. "Me too" exclaimed Chloe. Chloe jumped out of the car and ran over to her house climbing onto the old car and leaping to the roof. From there she went to her window when she climbed in she looked back at Ian and waved. From the front porch of the opposing house waved the boy.
