Dream Catcher Tale

Chapter 1

Long ago, human and monsters shared a world. One day a war started, humans vs. monsters. The monsters lost and a powerful wizard sealed them away where they couldn't be found. The Dream Dimension, a place between wakefulness and sleep.

"Come on!! Xxxxx!!"

"Okay Xxxxxx!! Let's do this."

"Xxxxx!!! I think this is a bad idea now. Please.. Don't go"

"....."

Frisk awoke, gasping. They looked around their room, glancing at all the shadows that masked the room's contents.

They held their head, worried. That was dream, wasn't it? The voices though, sounded real. If only they could remember the faces of the ones who spoke.

Frisk checked their digital clock. It's unnatural green light blinded them for a second before they read it's numbers. 1:34.

They sighed and layed back down. The ceiling above them was just as dark as the rest of the room. They slowly closed their eyes and fell back asleep.

The sensation of falling threatened to wake Frisk up, but so such thing happened. Darkness surrounded Frisk as the sensation grew. They hit something hard, yet soft, which made the breath escape their lungs. They looked above, seeing nothing but darkness.

After they caught their breath, they sat up.The soft thing they felt was a patch of black pansies, which just added to the dark feeling of the place. Shakily standing up, Frisk saw a door way down a little gray path. Frisk slowly walked down the path, which led to a golden archway.

Peering In Frisk could see a small patch of grass with a single black flower. Across the room was another golden doorway. They crossed the small room, biting their lip. A loud "Howdy!" made them stop.

Turning to their right, they saw the flower was facing them, and it had a face. It's eyes were as black as its petals and it had a friendly smile. Frisk gave a small wave.

"Howdy! Im Flowey, Flowey the Flower." It said. "You're new to the underground, aren't cha?"

Underground? Was that were Frisk was? They gave a little nod.

"You must be so confused!!" Flowey said, "Someone oughta teach ya how things work around here. Guess lil ol me will have to do. Ready? Here we go!"

The room around the two turned a pure black and white and a little red heart appeared in front of Frisk's chest.

"That there is your SOUL. The very cumulation of your being. And it'll grow stronger as your LV grows! Whats LV you ask? LV stands for LOVE!"

Love? That didn't sound to bad to Frisk.

"LOVE is spread through little white.. friendliness .. pellets" As Flowey spoke, a little arch of white seed looking things appeared above him. "You want some don't cha? Catch as many as you can."

The pellets suddenly flew at Frisk, who reached out for one. They let go of it, their whole body in pain. They collapsed onto their knees. The heart followed, and Frisk saw it was very badly cracked.

"YOU IDIOT!!" Flowey said, causing Frisk to look up. Flowey's once friendly grin was replaced with one that made Frisk fear for their life.

"IN THIS WORLD IT'S KILL OR BE KILLED!! WHY WOULD I PASS UP THIS OPPORTUNITY!!" Flowey continued and a circle of white pellets surrounded Frisk, all close enough to touch,

"Now DIE!!" Flowey started to laugh as the pellets came closer to Frisk.

Just as the pellets were about to hit Frisk, a golden ball of fire shot out and hit Flowey. He went flying and disappeared in the darkness. Frisk's SOUL had became undamaged and they felt no more pain.

Looking up, they saw what had hit flowey away. Standing above them was a goat lady kindly smiling down at them. She wore a set of golden robes with a light purple crest on her chest.

"What a terrible creature, torturing such a poor innocent youth. " She said, holding her hand out. " My name is Toriel, caretaker of the ruins. "
