a stormy night (naruto x Ino)

Chapter 1

Springtime in Konoha was known for the torrential rain, and this spring was no different. Naruto woke up to thunder booming overhead and a loud and urgent knock on his front door. As he tried to get his bearings in his pitch-black apartment, the knocking got more urgent. He grabbed a pair of shorts that were hanging from a chair and made a gorgy beeline to the door.

"Who the hell is-"he was cut off by what his eyes were showing him, Ino Yamanaka stood in his doorway, drenched to the bone and shivering like a pile of Jell-O.

"Ino? What are you doing here?"

"Just please let me in... I'm freezing over here!" her drenched clothes stuck to her, revealing her hourglass body. Naruto involuntarily made note of the fact that her nipples were erect and hard enough to cut glass.

Just as Ino was halfway through the doorway, she collapsed and everything went black.

Ino POV

I felt myself drifting in and out of consciousness for a while, until my mind finally settled down. I couldn't find the strength to open my eyes, but some things were becoming more and more apparent. I was dry, warm, I felt the presence of a thick blanket surrounding my whole body and rubbing against my nipples in quite a- wait a minute, I was naked! And not only that, I could feel two arms around me and the wall (or at least what I first thought of as a wall) was starting more and more like a chest, rising and falling rhythmically. My eyes shot open and I looked around me, I was in what seemed like a normal living room, although it was a particularly cold one. I was on the couch, and when I turned my head, I almost let out a scream. Naruto was sleeping, bare-chested, with both arms around my waist. I was stunned, so stunned in fact, that I passed out.

I awoke again to a heavenly smell invading my nostrils, along with a light sizzle and the occasional crackle coming from the kitchen. I was about to get up, when I remembered that I was absolutely naked. I was stumped as to what I should do until I saw a small pile of clothes on the couch next to me. It was an oversized t-shirt, an equally large pair of sweatpants, and an orange hoodie. I decided that it probably wouldn't hurt and put them on. I stood up and gave a slight yelp when I felt how cold the floor was with my bare feet. Not wasting anymore time and headed in the direction of the smell, down a short corridor, through a door on my right, and as I was about to enter, I froze in my tracks. Right in front of me, cooking some eggs, was none other than Naruto Uzumaki...shirtless.

"It looks like you have some explaining to do..." Naruto said calmly whithout turning around. Ino was slightly taken aback by such a calm and collected version of Naruto, but she didnt say anything out loud. She decided to try her usual bossy act on him, but before she could utter a word, a plate appeared o the table. it was filled with fried eggs and a bit of fried pork.

"Eat, you must be hungry... it has been 2 days after all." she stopped dead in her tracks.

"What do you mean by 2 days?!?!" but at that moment her nose caught a whiff of the aroma the plate emited, and all she could think of at that moment was food. She sat down and dug into the plate, barely chewing as she inhaled (almost literally) the delicious food.

" well, you stumbledd into my appartment 2 nights ago in a severe state of hypothermia, and passed out in the hallway. You gradually thawed out on my couch and thats about it..." he mentioned nonchalantly, serving himself a similar plate of food. after that they ate in silence for a while, which gave Ino some time to have a little conversation with her inner self.

This is so weird... i never knew that NARUTO of all people could this calm and collected. either way, i guess its for the better. he seems so out of character though, i cant help but think that something is up. And he actually looks pretty good with his shirt off... did i just think that?! No No No!! bad Ino!

She was interrupted by light tap on the shoulder. she snapped her attention to Naruto, who was alreeady finished with his meal and looking at her with a slightly confused face.

"Areyou okay? You spaced out there for quite a while..."

"yeah, im fine. thanks for the food, it tastes great!"

" You welcome. well, now its your turn to explain, why and how did you end up in his part of town at 2 am?"

"Well see... it all happened..."
