Hesitant, she shook the thought out of her head. "No. I can't." Sighing, she placed her hand on the door knob and left.

Lucy's POV
"Hey Luce!" Natsu called up running to me. I glanced back and gave a fake smile which greeted his arrival. "We should hang out after school!"my eyes looked up at him. I nodded. We were silent for a bit and Natsu noticed this too. "Hey is something wrong?" I shook my head. "You haven't talked yet..." Natsu stated, suspicious. "I-I'm sorry." He shook his head, "for what?" I shrugged, "for not talking" Natsu chuckled, "well I'm not gonna get mad at you for not talking. You do what you do!" He grinned which made me smile for real.
We headed toward class. "Natsu. Solve the equation on the bored." Natsu stared at the bored and his eyes widened. "Why?!" He whined. "Just do it." The teacher complained. Groaning, Natsu stood up from his desk and approached the board, grabbing the chalk out of the teacher's hand. Natsu attempted to stall. Successfully, the bell rung. "Yes!" He slammed the chalk on the chalk holder metal piece. I chuckled. I waited for Natsu to grab his stuff as we walked out the class. I waved goodbye to him as I walked toward my history class.

I sat down at the tree next to Natsu. Suddenly a guy with blonde hair and a black jacket with yellow stripes. He had black jeans on. He approached along with a guy who wore too much make up, a girl who wore a white dress, a guy who had a wine red vest that matched his hair, over a white short sleeve shirt. That guy who had too much makeup held a pink teddy bear. Then, the worst of them all appeared; Michelle.
The guy with the black jacket with yellow stripes pulled out an empty beer bottled as the others snickers. "Would you like some?" He laughed, while walking away. "What the hell!" Natsu snarled, getting ready to punch them. "Natsu it's okay." He glanced at me and rested his shoulders.
Michelle, however didn't leave. "What do you want?" He snarled at the girl who stood in front of us. "I would like to talk to Lucy alone please." She smiled so innocently. Natsu braised his fist, "like hell I'll leave her alone to speak to you!" I tugged at Natsu's sleeve as I sat on top of my legs. He glanced back at me and nodded. "Fine but if you lay a finger on her, I will make sure you regret it!" He snapped. I swear I felt my heart skip a beat. It felt warm and fuzzy.
"Don't worry. Nothing's gonna happen." Michelle rolled her eyes. Natsu sighed, and hesitated before walking away. Michelle's attention immediately focused back to me right after Natsu disappeared out of sight. "So..." she smirked.
"What do you want this time Michelle?" I demanded. "Did you like my little video?" I attempted to keep my anger inside. "I don't know if 'like" is the word I would use." I huffed under my breath. "Well anyways, I want you to do something. I can't promise that you won't die doing it." My eyes widened as I quickly got to my feet as I swiped my hand across sideways in mid air, "No way! I don't care what it is! It's nothing risking my life over." I snapped. She sighed with a slight smile, "oh you poor thing." She pulled out my story. "So what?! Let everyone know my secrets! I will NOT risk my life over it." Michelle's eyes widened in my sudden outburst of disobedience. Her smirk turned into an angry frown. "Do you really want people to know that you killed your mother?! Your a god damn murder!" A tear escaped my eyes as I shouted back, "I did not kill her! You Don't know what happened! You weren't there!"
"Who says I wasn't? And I don't have to be there to know what happened. I overheard your father talking about it."
My mouth went quiet, as I settled my stance. "W-what do you mean?" Her confidence regained as she let out a sly laugh, "oh wow! I bet you didn't know that your dad and my dad are drinking buddies." My eyes widened. "What are you talking about?" I questioned. "The other day. He came over with my dad and his other friends. I overheard him talking about how pathetic you are. How your such a pest. How he wishes you would just go kill yourself." My eyes widened and I swore I could feel a couple tears make their way down my cheek. "Aw it's crying." She teased.
My hair fell over my eyes. I ran away and inside the building. "Lucy?" Natsu's voice whispered as I ignored him and zoomed past him toward the nearest bathroom.

Third POV

"Lucy?" Lucy zipped past Natsu. Natsu turned his head to see Michelle outside. Growling he ran outside and toward her as she was walking away. Suddenly, Michelle's eyes widened.

Pcccch!!!!

A fist landed right in the side of Michelle's cheek, as she wobbled to the ground. Picking her up my the shirt, he glared into her eyes. "What the hell did you do to Lucy?!" He growled as a whistle blew. Natsu glanced over to see a teacher with a whistle in his mouth running over. Natsu brought Michelle to the ground, letting her feet touch the grass. She let out a breath for air. Apparently Natsu grabbed her collar so tight that she wasn't able to breathe.

Along with the teacher, a crowd of students appeared behind them. His friend's eyes widened as they saw Michelle on the ground and Natsu standing up with clenched fist. They knew something was wrong.

Levy tried to squeeze through the forming crowd of people. Once she got to the front, she gasped. "Lu-Lu!" In a panic, she attempted to scurry back to the side entrance into the school cafeteria. Levy quickly moved her head in every direction, trying to spot her friend. She aggressively pushed the Cafeteria's doors open, which led her into a hall. She looked around and ran through the halls. Suddenly, her ears perked up as she heard a slight sniffle. She stopped running in her tracks. Turning around, she slowly approached a bathroom door. Opening it slightly, she saw her blonde friend huddled in the corner, with her knees up to her chest and her head buried in them. "Lucy?" Levy whispered so gently and sweet. Lucy looked up as tear marks appeared on her face. Wiping her eyes with her arm, Lucy gave a fake smile. "Are you okay?" Levy entered the bathroom and walked over next to Lucy. Lucy slowly nodded as Levy slid down the wall to sit next to her. Levy
brought Lucy into a hug and Lucy hesitated on hugging back. However, she eventually did, and her legs straightened out in front of her.

"Thank you Levy" she whispered into her best friend's shoulder as some snot escaped her nose. Laughing it off, they pulled out of a hug, "Sorry." Levy shook her head, "don't worry about it." Levy gave a smile and Lucy copied.
