If you know who Murphy is, you are my new best friend. ^^^
Jordan's POV
Right now I am stuck in the back of a moving van that we picked up a while ago. I have literally nothing to do and I'm not allowed to move. It's been four weeks since I broke my ankle and it seems to be healing well. Hershal is being over protective of me since I hurt it. Carl comes to talk to me all the time. Mostly because I'm the only person who still has a personality right now. Glenn and Maggie come to talk to me as well, but they are boring. They're always super serious and lovey dovey, it's kinda gross.
Even Daryl comes to visit sometimes. He doesn't come often because he doesn't want people to think that he cares. In fact, I was so lost in my train of thought that I didn't even notice him coming toward me.
"Jordan." Daryl greeted me with a small head nod.
"Dixon." I smiled up at him. "What are you doing?" I asked him. He smirked down at me.
"Just about to go on a run for supplies. Do you need anything?"
I stared at him confused. He's never asked if I wanted anything. He's never asked if anyone wanted anything. I stared at him, confused.
He began to figit with his crossbow strap as I realized that he was waiting for my answer.
"Oh! Yes, can you get me some more..." I pretended like I was using my inhaler. He nodded and smiled softly at me.
"Okay..." He turned around and hoped out of the large vehicle. I sighed on content as the quiet washed over me.
I closed my eyes, hoping to get a few hours of sleep before we began driving on the bumpy roads.
"Oh My Gosh!" Maggie jumped into the moving van, scaring me out of my relaxation.
"What do you want Maggs?" I questioned as my tensed muscles relaxed.
"Daryl was smiling." She told me like it was a miracle.
"Yeah..." I told her sarcastically, "he smiles all the time."
"This is the first time I have seen him smile in all the time I have known him!" She exclaimed happily as if she discovered the cure to cancer.
"Maybe he just doesn't like you." I told her starkly. She looked at me like I was stupid.
"He likes you." She smiled matter of factly.
"Guys!" Glenn exclaimed, hopping ingots the back of the van. His eyes where wide as saucers. "I think Daryl's sick!"
"What are you talking about!?" I groaned.
"He was smiling." He put more emphasis on his words then Maggie did. "I don't know what's gotten into him but I think it might be a good thing."
"Told you." Maggie said proudly.
"What are you guys talking about?" Glenn asked carefully, probobly not sure if he wanted to know the answer.
"I was just telling Jordan about how Daryl is in love with her." She said in a sing song voice.
"Wait... was Daryl talking to you before he left? THAT EXPLAINS EVERYTHING!!" Glenn seemed so happy with himself.
Maggie and Glenn began going back and forth about how he loves me and how they're 'probobly going to need to lend us their condoms'
"Go fuck each other!" I grumbled to my best friends.
"That might be the best idea I have heard all day." Maggie said as she pulled Glenn up and left the moving truck.
I layed back down as everything was finally quiet. Finally, I get to rest.
