His name was Jonathan, all his friends called him Jt for short. His eyes were as green as the leaves on a summer day. Lea thought he was so handsome and sweet. Jt thought Lea was gorgeous, if only Jt knew that Lea would only use Jt for attention.
One day on a cold January evening Jt couldn't hold it in any longer.
"Lea, i've had feelings for you for a while now and i wanted to know if you wanted to be my girlfriend?"
Lea was spinning with happiness.
"Yes Jonathan i would love to be your girlfriend"
The next day Jt was bursting with smiles all day, he would continually giggle and talk about Lea.
"Why are you so happy Jonathan?" Asked Alison his best friend
"Oh my gosh Ali, I asked out Lea and she said yes! I couldn't be happier!"
"Oh. I'm so happy for you J"
Alison replied with the most sound of dread in her voice
As days passed Alison noticed Lea would hang out with them more often, it was as if she was Jonathans shadow, she was always there for his bright days but never there for his dark days.
"Hey J wanna go to the movies on Friday?"
"Oh im sorry Ali but I'm going to the mall with Lea on Friday, maybe some other time?"
Ali nodded and left the table they were sitting at.
