~Warmth~ {Kino X Reader}

~Prologue~

"Warmth meaning affection, enthusiasm, It's a feeling that you receive when you're gleeful or when you love someone. A great feeling that brings joy in the dark, a feeling that helps you feel safe, something that everyone wants and needs so, am I your Warmth?"

If he didn't leave that day...what would have happened? 

would we have been happy?

Together?

Why does it feel so Cold?

I need him...

I need his Warmth again...

"Why did you have to go ?" 

-flashback-

"Y/n, why don't you try to make friends in your new neighborhood? like that boy over there?" mother smiled as she pointed to a boy, he consisted of a plump face and lustrous, ebony-hued hair. The boy was playing alone with his toy cars on the ground, he was wearing trousers and a long-sleeved shirt."In the summer.?.."I thought, "Mommy... why do I have to meet new people?" I whined.

 "You have to make friends in your life, Y/n, you can't always be alone." she frowned. "But mommy I'm scared!" I tugged on her dress "Then do it for mommy! Please?" she pouted, "For mommy?" I asked She nodded ecstatically. "For mommy!" I said holding my fists in the air, She laughed "Okay Y/n, now go and make new friends! Fighting!" she held her fist, "fighting!"  I responded.

I anxiously walked over to the boy "You can do this Y/n! Do it for mommy!" I thought. I stopped ahead of the boy and waited until he received my attention, He was distracted by his cars "Vroom vroom!" he said before he realized I was existent. The boy looked up, his face in a tone of coral, I giggled, "H..hello..my name is Y/n, can I play with you?" I stuttered a bit. The boy lightly nodded, concealing his face and handing me a shiny (y/c) toy car "Thank you..." I mumbled, smiling.

"Soooo, what are we playing?..." I asked in the silence, "Oh!" the boy became rapturous for a second and looked at me. He tranquilized, "um...cars..." he mumbled, "Oh! How do I play?" I asked, "Oh...Uhm..we race!" the boy said silently, "Sounds fun!" I said, he nodded.

"Um! do you want to start racing?" he asked, "Sure!" I replied happily, the boy stood up, "follow me!" he said exultantly, I stood and followed. "Are you ready?" he stopped, holding his car in the air, I nodded, "I'll beat you!" I grinned assuredly, "Mhmm!" he said smirking, "Go!" I shouted audibly for only us to hear.

I ran ahead of him,"h-hey!" he yelled, I ran, and ran, nearly reaching the pole until, I suddenly felt myself falling on the side of my face, I let the toy car fall ahead of me.

I sat up and started whimpering in pain, "Oww..." I silently cried,  "Y/n!" I heard the boy call, he crouched and looked at me, "Y/n I'm so sorry!" he said teary-eyed. "I-It's o-okay..."  I sniffled, "It hurts.." I mumbled to myself. The boy embraced me, "I'm sorry Y/n! I won't hurt you again! I promise! " he said embracing me tighter. "I feel warm..."I thought, slowly hugging him back," the pain is gone..."

The boy broke the hug, "oh no...I got blood all over you!" I said looking at the boy's collar,"It's okay! I can fix this!" he said pulling a tissue out of his pocket. "I'm sorry... I don't have any band aid's, but hopefully this can help!" he said as he started to clean the cut on my cheek, "But, your shirt..." I said quietly, "My shirt doesn't matter, you do!" he said confidently.

"But..." I mumbled once again, flattered by his words, "There, done!" he said triumphantly. "Are you okay Y/n.?.." he asked in a worried tone, "Yes, Thank you!" I said hugging the boy.

"Yn!" I heard a woman call, I saw my mother running towards me, "Here!" the boy said placing an object in my small hand and closing it. "It's a gift... Thank you for playing with me Y/n." he smiled sweetly. I felt a toy car wrapped up in my small hands, "You don't need to-" I was cut off.

"Y/n are you okay!?" mother asked in a worried tone, "yes mommy! Thanks to him!" I said pointing to the boy with my spare hand, "Oh! thank you so much, sweetie, for taking care of my daughter!" mother thanked the boy, "No problem ma'am" he said bowing.

Mother smiled, "Y/n say bye to your friend." she said only audible enough for I, to hear. "Mommy, I want to play just a little bit more!" I  whined, "Sweetie, we need to eat dinner." she said as she kneeled.

 "Can I say my goodbyes then? " I frowned, she sadly nodded and stood, " I'll wait for you In the house," she stated, "Okay?" she smiled sweetly, I nodded.

Mother waved at the boy and turned around, "I need to go..." I frowned, "It's okay! I understand..." the boy said staring at the floor, " You live here, right!?" I asked, he looked up and smiled "yes!" he yelled, "Can I see you tomorrow?" I asked happily, "Maybe!" he said nervously.

 "Y/n! It's time to go !" I heard my mother, "I have to go..." I frowned. "See you tomorrow!" he said, I nodded happily and the boy started to walk farther from my sight.

"Wait!" I yelled causing the boy to turn around, "What's your name?" I asked.

 I squeezed the toy car. 

the boy smiled sweetly,

 "Kino"
