She's tired.
Her hands are sore, her legs are cramped, her hair is tickling her neck, but for the most part, she keeps her head straight, her posture right, her hands clasped together.
They are in the Palanquin. It is lined with intricate designs etched into it, blue like the Diamond she serves. Laced with a thin veil of white, it covers her Diamond, who holds the same expression- mysterious, commanding and defensive.
A Sapphire comes in, murmurs a greeting and assets afterwards. Once her report is done, Blue Diamond dismisses her.
Just as predicted, the rebellion arrives.
Then a Pearl- a Pearl- shows up, her hands clasped too, but in her hands there were swords, weapons of metal that was made to kill. Her fingers grabs the handle tightly, and she takes out two gems in a flash.
Blue Pearl is shocked to say the least. A Pearl like this would be defective- would be wrong, unprecedented. But then again, this was a rebellion.
She is captivated. The Pearl glides through gems with elegance and grace, an athletic body built for serving has now gone back on all orders, destroying two rubies entirely.
However, the Palanquin whisks them away, and before Blue Pearl knows it, the Rose Quartz and the Pearl are specks of pink and white in the horizon.
