I woke up.  Slept on the cold floor today.  No pool of tears or saliva today.  I get up, stretch.  The entirety of my body tingles, signaling the cells to wake up as well.  The bed is completely immaculate.  Guess I fell asleep on the floor.  Yet I don't remember at all.  My surrounding walls are as gray and boring as when I first came here.  I don't remember how long I've been here.

What is time really?  If before I did not know then now I feel it doesn't exist.  Time is measured by clocks, which move.  If I don't move then I stay trapped in time.  But I won't stay here too long.  I have a promise to keep.  Hopefully she hasn't forgotten about me.  Even if she doesn't remember, I will keep that promise.  Then I can die peacefully.   The door opened slightly, letting in a streak of clean light.  It's been so long since the door had been opened.  And it opened completely.  Then the shadowy figures of two armored guards materialized.  Guns at the ready, they called for me to get out of my prison.  I was excited!  Finally, today was the day I got out.  Finally, everything was looking up!  Still, I will miss the 272 1-inch tiles on the floor, the 731 blocks on all four walls.  So I walked towards the guards, light burning my retinas.

Blinded by the light, I walked towards some unknown location.  The guards' aura combined with their march-like footsteps helped me pinpoint where they were.  My vision static started to clear up.  We were walking through a long, bright white corridor filled with door on its sides.  The doors had compartments where food came from.  Never looked at the guards in the face; they stayed quiet, not even chatting between them.  We reached the end of the corridor, which seemed endless, where there was a door different from all the others.  It looked like a normal door with no barred slit food compartment.  The guards pushed me through the doors into a medium-sized room.  In it were some unrecognizable faces.

My guarding companions gestured me to kneel down on a small little platform.  I obeyed ad kneeled.  From here I could see the entire room.  It was pretty bland, just like the rest of the place but in some way it looked nicer.  More pleasing to the eye I might say.  Inspecting the people, there was one aged man with some papers, next to him a camera with its operator.  The old man stands up and clears his throat faintly; just enough that I could know what he was doing from this distance.  He starts reading stuff from his papers.  It was more like mumbling really, I could barely hear anything at all.  The camera was pointed at him.  The man was saying some stuff, took him about a minute and twelve seconds to finish talking.  "Treason", "guilty", "murder", "terrorism", "massacre" were some of the words I could make out the man say.  But he finished by asking me something.  Something that felt like a wake-up call.  "Any last words?"

"Last words?! What do you mean last words?"  I asked the man.  "Didn't you hear me? You are about to be executed.  The court has decided that you will be executed for you crimes", he replied with a tone of subtle satisfaction.  All my thoughts disappeared instantly.  Execution?!  But, what did I do?  "If there're no last words then guards will proceed with the execution".  I looked down at my hands, they were handcuffed.  How had I not noticed that before?  I can't run, there's no escape.  There are guards coming towards me.  My wrists had developed some crusts from the handcuffs. One guard grabbed me firmly by the shoulders.  Escape was impossible now.  Maybe I could plead with the judge?  No, this decision was already presented to a court.  There was no undoing it.  But maybe there is. The other guard stepped closer, lifted up his rusty sword.  Maybe I can get out of this.  The guard on my left put the sword right on my neck. All of my body tingles from the cold of the steel.  Surely something will happen that will get me out of this situation.  There is no way my life is about to end right here.  The guard lifts up the sword.  My neck mourns its absence.  I'm sure someone will come bursting through that door, saying that I can still live. All of the dreams I haven't accomplished! I can't die now!! Your promise!! I HAVE TO KEEP YOUR PROMISE!

In one instant swoop, the guard beheaded me, bisecting my neck veins, my spinal cord like it was butter.  I didn't feel any pain.  The whole room was rotating around me.  It was the same room yet, it wasn't the same. There was this quailty of it that I hadn't seen in years.  The room wasn't blank, it was a light brownish color.  The aged man had white hair, but his skin had a noticeable reddish flesh color. The floor had speckles of blue dust, embedded into it.  My head whirled until I saw my body.  It didn't move, it was trapped in time.  The lack of a head was exemplified by the gushing scarlet blood and a barely visible white dot, my spinal cord. My handcuffs were golden.  I noticed that in my forearms I had pale white tattoos on my brownish skin.  When did I ever do that?  My robes were gray, just like they always were.  But now they had speck of blood. Color.  My head fell unceremoniously on the floor beside my body.  I will not die if I stay still.  Yes!  If I stay still time won't pass! I won't die!  And I will fulfill my promis to Adr---.
