Chapter One: Ally
It had been a long day of constant lectures and homework for you. Your college finals were coming up in two weeks and you were already starting to stress out. You weren’t ready to start devoting every waking minute to studying for exams like you did last semester. You swore you would never go four solid days without human contact again, after choosing to lock yourself in your dorm and study nonstop. To help yourself relax a little you headed out to the nearest Starbucks. Once you got your favorite drink, the chocolate chai tea latte, you headed towards the exit. You were almost out the door until a tall, skinny man wearing a dark hoodie bumped into you. He hit you so hard you almost fell. You were about to yell at him and tell him to watch where he was going, but when you looked up his dark emerald eyes caught ahold of your voice. He knew that you instantly recognized who he was. He put a finger to his lips implying for you to be quiet. He took your hand and led you out to the parking lot. He didn’t stop till he was in the very back of the lot.
“I know you know who I am” he whispered quietly.
You were so stunned you couldn’t seem to find your voice; you did everything you could not to scream from excitement.
“Of course I know who you are. You’re Ha-Harry Styles from One Direction” you stammered quietly.
He looked up at you and smirked. You figured he was laughing because you were so nervous. I mean how often does someone get to randomly run into Harry Styles.
“Would you like and autograph or something?” he asked you while looking down at his shoes. You tilted your head at him. If you really met Harry Styles you wanted to see his entire face. You slowly walked closer to him and reached a hand out to grab ahold of the hood upon his head, but before you could pull it off he grabbed your wrist quickly but lightly.
“Stop. No. Not here in broad daylight. Someone would see me.” He said firmly but in a whispered tone.
He walked over to the car you had assumed was his. He got in the driver’s side and motioned for you to get in the passenger side. He slowly slid the hood off of his head. His auburn curls flopped over his forehead. He quickly tried to readjust them making himself look even more attractive. Your mouth came ajar; he was more good looking in person than you thought he would be. You coughed to try to break the awkward silence while you stared at him.
“Wow your even better looking in person” you said still trying to avoid things being awkward but your comment didn’t help much. Your compliment made his cheeks flush red.
“Why thank you love” he replied back his accent more clear now. “What’s your name?” he asked.
Your name, what was your name? You had suddenly forgotten, your mind had drifted off to day dreaming about what he would sound like if he sang right in front of you. He asked for your name again breaking you out of your trance.
“Ally, m-my name is Ally” you stated a little unsure of yourself.
“Well Ally. Would you like something from me or not?” He said sounding a little agitated now.
“Why do you say it like that?” you asked bluntly.
Your question took him aback. “Well every time I run into a fan they always just want something from me. They can never just be satisfied with meeting me. I don’t know it’s just expected that they always want something.” He stated.
“Well I mean how often do you think they will get to see you? How many chances do they have to see you face to face again? They want something to remember the day they got to meet someone who was of importance to them. It’s not always because you have fame that people want proof that they met you.” You countered back.
