Sarah's pov
"Great. Just great." I pick up the red notice on my door, looking at the bold letters that held my misery. I sigh and walk in, then I pack all my stuff. It's not much, only taking up half the space of my luggage. I throw in my laptop and my phone, presents I received from my school. I walk out of my apartment and walk down the barren sidewalk. It was 11 at night, and no one was up. I walk over to a deli, looking inside through the glass. No one was there, only two men who were mopping the floor. Good. I walk into the alleyway and go into the back corner. I hug my luggage close to my chest as I sit down. I close my eyes and start drifting off. I had slept in alleyways before, when my dad would kick me out of the house for the night. He would do that when he was expecting female company at the house. I am just about to fall asleep when suddenly it starts raining. I let out a frustrated sigh and stand up. Thank god my luggage is water proof. I walk out of the alley and go across the street. I'm about to turn the corner when I hear a boy's voice say "Hey, need some help?"
David's pov
"Yo Jack, I think we're pretty much done." I look over at the next aisle to see Jack grabbing one of the small bags of chips and opening it. Jack has been my best friend since kindergarten, and he can be a little bit of a handful. "Jack, don't do that! What if the boss finds out?!" He shrugged and continued eating the chips. He always wore his green beanie over his brown hair, and wore his grey jacket along with jeans and navy blue skate shoes. Me on the other hand, I didn't look like that at all. I had brown hair, yes, but I would wear simple T-Shirts with the Machinima logo on them, dark jeans, and black sneakers. Also instead of being brown like Jack's, my eyes were blue. Jack finally finished the bag and threw it away, then walked over to the front of the Deli where I was."Aw man, it's raining. I can't skateboard in the rain" I chuckle "Well, maybe you should start taking the bus instead" He looked at me with wide eyes, suprised I would ever suggest such a 'horrible' mode of transportation "NEVER!!" He ran out in the rain and headed towards his house carrying his skateboard. I chuckle to myself and put on my rain coat, then stepped outside. I was about to walk to the bus stop when someone walked out of the alley. They didn't see me and continued to cross the street. They carried a luggage bag. Is that person homeless? They can't just stay out in the rain I decide to call to them."Hey, need some help?" The person turned toward my direction and shook their head no. But I knew better than to leave someone out in the rain. I ran over to them and grabbed the luggage."H-Hey, give that back!" To my suprise it was a female's voice. I pulled her into the light of the street lamp to get a better look. She had long black hair that reached to her waist, and her minecraft T-Shirt and dark jeans were completely soaked. She wore light blue sneakers and her eyes were green. She was shaking furiously. She was the same height of my girlfriend, almost as tall as me."Do you have anywhere to stay?" The question suprised me, I didn't even mean to ask. It caught her off guard, and she looked at the ground."N-no, I was evicted from my apartment today." I sigh. I'm gonna have to take her home, hopefully no one will see me bringing in a strange girl into my apartment. I grab here hand and start walking to the bus stop."W-what are you doing?" I looked at her and said "I'm not just gonna leave someone out in the rain." We reach the bus stop and wait. The idiots who made it didn't make a roof over it, so we were still in the rain. I noticed her shaking started to get worse. I pull of my rain coat and put it on her."I-I don'y need it, thank you-" "Just take it, please. Your shaking like crazy and you've probably been out here longer than me." She gives me an astonished look, then gives a sigh and hugs the rain coat closer to her. Finally after 15 minutes the bus comes and we arrive at the apartment complex. We walk in and I lead her to the elevator, and I press floor 5."Wow, this is a nice apartment." I look at her as she looked around the elevator in wonder."It's just average, not real fancy." what kind of apartment did she live in? Pretty much all the apartment complex's look the same as this one. We reach our floor and I lead her to my room. I unlock the door and let her in. After I closed the door, I looked to see her wandering through the living room/kitchen area."You have a beautiful view." She looks out the window and at the city lights."Yeah, I guess" I walk pass the couch and T.V. and go to the king sized bed."I think we'll both have to sleep on the same bed." I looked over at her and saw she had a deep blush across her face.I chuckled, it looked kinda cute. We both crawled into the bed and I turned out the lights. Before I feel asleep, I felt her cuddle up to me. I wasn't weirded out by it, she was probably justa natural cuddler. I smile and fall asleep
