CHAPTER 8
HAYES POV
"So do you think you'll be okay?" I asked Mercedes..
"I don't know.. I can't believe she's gone.." She said,
I kissed her on her forehead and hugged her,
"Thanks Hayes.." She said hugging me back..
"Your welcome, I'll always be there for you."
I backed up and saw that my sweater was soaked in water from her tears, and I noticed I had mascara on it too.. Great,
"I'm sorry about your hoodie Hayes.." She said wiping her tears,
"It's fine baby," I said trying to comfort her,
A few hours had pasted and we were sitting on her bed watching frozen,
"Do you wanna build a snowman?" I sang in the little girls voice,
"Hayes, it's like 90 degrees outside." She said laughing, I was happy I could make her laugh.
I put my arm around her and she laid her head on my chest,
"HAYES!" Nash yelled from downstairs,
"I'll be right back," I said as she nodded her head,
I ran downstairs and saw Nash with a girl, she was wearing black shorts and a green tank top, I realized I was still in my boxers,
"Hey this is my girlfriend." He doesn't name her,
"Okay," I say as he grabbed my ear and pulled me out the door
"Come on Haaaassss" he says as his gf giggles,
"Stop Nash, I'll be right back," I say running up to Mercedes' room.
"Hey babe," I say
"Hey." She says
" I gotta go home, but I'll call you later and maybe we can do something." I say kissing her on the cheek,
"Okay, bye babe." She says kissing me on the lips, I start to kiss back,
This lasted for about 2 minutes until Nash came upstairs and walked in on us,
"OH MY GOD!" He yelled laughing,
"NASH!" I yelled back,
Brent walked in
"What happened?" He asked,
"Mercedes and Hayes were kissing." He said mockingly. Brent gave Mercedes the death stare,
"WHAT?!" He yelled,
"Nothing Brent, Nash leave," she said sternly,
once we started walking out she grabbed my hand and pulled me to her,
"Okay so call me later and maybe we can go to the movies or something?" she said kissing me.. Again.
"Okay!" I said wrapping my hands around her waist,
After I got home I got dressed and called Mercedes, we made plans to go to the movies.
