One Shot: From Shawn's POV.
It was early morning. We were at a hotel, and right now it was about 6 am. Why did I get up this early? Because we had to get home, Magcon was over. Honestly, I couldn't wait to see my family. Taylor's bed sheets moved, which made me guess he was awake.
He sat up and stared me in the eyes. My face suddenly went hot and I'm sure my face turned a bit red. You see, I have this 'thing' for him, and I'm not sure why. I guess it's because of how close we are. He looked at me, rubbing his eyes, and when I finally came into focus, he raised an eyebrow.
"Why is your face red?"
"I-it's just a bit hot in here, that's all." I replied.
"But I'm not hot..."
"Nevermind! We need to get home." I snapped, trying to avoid the rest of the conversation.
I guess I should tell him how I feel. I never let him know, and it would probably put a huge weight off my chest. I'm just afraid to creep him out, and lose my best friend. Taylor Caniff is awesome, and I don't know what I would do without him.
"What time is it?" Taylor yawns.
"6:10." I said, glancing over at the alarm.
He sits up and grabs his keys, slipping on his shoes, while I do as well. We have to check out, then we can get home. It's not that far a drive from here, only two hours from here. We both reach for the door at the same time, and our hands touch. I instantly look down, my face heating up again.
"I-" he inturrupts me.
"Let's go..." He says, clearing his throat.
It can wait, I guess. We close the door after he lets us put, then lock it. As we walk down to the front desk, I look at his hand, wondering if I would ever get the courage to hold it.
When we make it down, he hands the man at the front desk the room key, and we go out to his car. We get into the car.
After we are all settled, and buckled up, I stop.
"Hey Taylor, I need to tell-" he puts a finger to my lips and looks me in the eyes again, with those eyes that make you just want to melt.
"I already know. I feel the same way...I just didn't know how to tell you..."
He pushed his lips against mine, and I swear my heart did jumping jacks. He was amazing in every way, and I couldn't be happier to have met his. His lips were soft. As we kissed, I thought about the walk down to the front desk earlier, and I took his hand. It was amazing.
After a minute of this, he pulled away reluctantly and started the car.
"Time to get home, Babe." He said.
