The Leaf And The Rose

Chapter one

Once there lived two rich families.

Their houses were right next to each

other. There was a brick wall separating the houses. On one side there lived a young girl. Her name was Rosey. Rosey had red hair.

Rosey wasn't let out of the house.

On the other side there lived a young

man. His name was Leonaldo. Leonaldo was let out of the house when ever he wanted. But he was never aloud to go near Rosey's house. Of course he didn't even know Rosey lived there. Though he always wondered what was over there. But he listened to his parents.

Chapter two

One day Rosey really wanted to go outside. So she talked to one of her favorite guards. Egg Yoke. So he made a plan for her. The next day she tried the plan. Once she was outside she started to run. Somebody grabbed her arm tightly. This is it she thought. It's my mother and I'll be locked away in my room for ever. But when she turned around she saw a Leonaldo. "What are you doing and why are you running?" Asked Leonaldo. "Who are you and why are you grabbing my arm?" Asked Rosey. "I grabbed your arm because you were running and looked suspicious." "The reason I was running was because I didn't want my mother to catch me. " "Oh, well I'm sorry that I stopped you." "That's okay but I guess I'll just go home now."As she was walking up the steps to her house Leonalda said "Wait!" " What is it?" Asked Rosey.

"Is that where you live ?" Asked Leonaldo. "Yes, why?Asked Rosey.

"Because I'm forbidden to go there. "

"Oh, well I better go now. "

Chapter three

Rosey told Egg Yoke about Leonaldo. Egg Yoke shook his head and said "Oh no!" "What's wrong?" Asked Rosey. "You were never supposed to meet him. " said Egg Yoke. " Why not?" Asked Rosey.

Because now if you don't have true loves kiss with him you'll die." "What?" Screeched Rosey.

"Why?"She said in a quieter voice.

"Because of a curse that a fairy put on you two. If you ever saw each other you would have to have true loves kiss!

That's why your mother would never let you outside. " " That is so unfair!" "It is not unfair it is keeping you safe from that horrid family!" "He was a very nice boy and I really liked him!" "That's beyond the point!" " I will kiss him because I loved him!" " You will go to your room and I will tell your mom what happened! End of discussion!" "I thought you were my friend!" Then Rosey stomped off to her room and slammed the door!

When Leonaldo got home he told his mum about meeting the girl of his dreams but how he thought he had ruined his chance with her! " I grabbed her arm when she was running away so she had to go back home and she seemed sad." "Where did you meet her?" Leonaldo knew that if he told his mum the truth she would ground him for life from his horse! " Umm I ah met her at the park when I was umm ah walking ya I was walking around and stuff!" "Mmhmm, is that the truth Leonaldo?"

"Yess" Said Leonaldo in a shaky voice. " "Your grounded from your horse till you tell the truth and that's final!" " Don't worry that's no big deal for me!" " You met her over at that house didn't you!" "Yes and I'm sorry! I thought she stole something because she was running so I stopped her and I'm sorry and I don't get why it's such a big deal! Urrr!!!" " You really want to know?" " Yes yes I do!" "Fine, When you were a baby me and them had a baby shower for you two on the same day! We disappointed one of the fairys! So she put a curse on you two! She based it off her least favorite book that she thought was just misserable! Romeo and Juliet! So you were a leaf and and she was a rose and if you didn't kiss you would turn into a leaf and she would turn into a rose and it would be too late after you seen each other and it would be over if you didn't like each other!" "But I more than liked her I loved her!" Well I already know her parents won't approve!" " Well I guess that means end of discussion?" " Yes!" "Fine!" Leonaldo spent the next week in his room drawing pictures of Rosey. He wished so much that he could see her again. So he decided to sneak out. The next night he snuck out and went over to Rosey's house. He seen her sitting beside a window. He started to throw small pebbles at the window.
