Yep. The door was locked all right. I pounded on the wood, but no one came. "Great," said my narcissistic sister, Arizona. "Now we're freezing and stuck." I sighed.
"Look, they probably did this accidentally. We'll be fine." I said, not knowing if my own words were true.
Click.
The door creaked open. Yes! I thought. George stood in the doorway. "Girls, I'm so sorry! That was a complete accident..." Then a tall, muscular man with a tattoo of a bundle of cash stood into our view. He had light stubble and he was completely bald. He stared at us with an angry expression.
"On Rico's part." Continued George. "This is Rico. He's in charge of keeping the kids out of trouble. Stay on his good side."
"Wait, there are more kids?" I asked.
"One," said George, "his name is Andrew. He's been visiting home in Texas but he's coming back tonight. Now go get some chilly, its in the kitchen."Zona and I ran out the of the room. It felt like we hadn't eaten in days. As we ate our chilly, Zona stared at Rico. "Mr. Sunshine." She said. "What?" I asked her, confused. "That's what I'm gonna call Rico. Y'know, like a code name." Then we heard a helicopter noise getting louder and louder.
"Andrew!" Said George excitedly. "Andrew!!" I said. Finally someone who gets what it's like!
