Christine's P.O.V.
I was watching my 2 year old daughter Melanie. We were at the store and she was just having so much fun. It was so adorable. "Melanie come on its time to go." She ran up to me and I picked her up. We live in Forks Washington and it's small but it's home. As I was paying I noticed the Cullen's with their "kids" I mean it's obvious they're all adopted except for the youngest kid who was around Melanie's age. "Come on Melanie lets go." I picked her back up and headed to the car. I know something is wrong with them. I don't know what but I know there's something......
####### Carlisle's P.O.V.######
Christine was watching us and I knew it. I hope she doesn't find out about us. Ever. Sweet little Melanie was watching us as her mother carried her out of the store. That girl may only be 2 but I can tell she will grow up to be a wonderful person. I looked at Rachel my only born child. I got Esme pregnant with her while she was still human. Rachel grows like a regular person but I love her. "Daddy?" "Yes baby?" I picked her up. "Who was that girl? Is she as mean as her mommy?" I laughed a little and kissed her cheek. "I don't know baby." She smiled at me. "MOMMY!" Ow! She screams a lot into our ears. I mean all of our ears. "Yes Rachel?" "Your turn!" she stuck her arms out like she was waiting for a hug and I gave her to Esme. "I LOVE YOU!!" Rachel shouted again. Haha. "Come on let's go home." We walked outside and started running when nobody was near. "Melanie you need to calm down." I could her Christine as I was running. We got to the house and Esme put Rachel down. "Mommy I'm tired." "Alright come on." She grabbed Rachel's hand and they went to her room. Rachel's room is quite cute. The walls are purple and there are lots of windows. 50 million books. OK so not that many but there are still a lot. "I'll see you when you wake up my dear." I heard Esme say to Rachel. "Carlisle?" Alice came up to me. "Yes?" "What do you think she'll be like when she gets older?" What? "Rachel?" "No." "Melanie?" "Yeah I mean she seems like a really sweet kid but her mother just...." I sighed. "I don't know I mean I think she'll turn out to be an amazing kid but if her mother continues to control her life things could go downhill for their relationship. And for her." I went inside and sat on the couch wondering. What would her future be like??
