Just saying:

Hi, welcome to my book. Thanks for clicking the read button, it means a lot to me.

Now, before you start the book, this is important. I just wanted to say that yes, I know my books are extremely and horribly carroty.

But seriously, what do you expect out of a girl who just found One Direction and loves to write. I may not be the best writer but hey, it's still fun.

Now, I'm going to leave my unfortunately carroty books up for those of you who don't mind it. Just don't go commenting on my story saying how dumb it is that Louis is playing with carrots or Liam is afraid of spoons.

trust me, when I read these again as of a few days ago, I cried.

So yea, you can read if you want.

Start:

"KATIE!!! We're going to be late!" My mom yelled at me from the bottom of the stairs. "I know, Mom just grabbing something!" I was in my room franticly searching for my headphones that I had misplaced among the cluttered space that is my room. As I pulled open drawers I looked down and saw a black streak across my brown floors. I smiled at the memory. It had been my birthday and Mandi was a little crazy because of the caffeine she'd had, so she tried to do the splits and her sock left a weird mark on my floor. "KATIE!! C'MON!!! I jolted out of my memory and in doing so, knocking over my cup with pens in it. Grumbling I bent down to pick it up and noticed my headphones in the mess! "Yes!" I pumped my fist in the air and did a little dance but immediately remembered why I was looking for them. My grandma and grandpa decided to move to Chicago. My mom had volunteered me and my siblings to help move them in, but I didn't complain, I liked helping people. Also my close friends Kaitlyn, Alinah, and Alexandra were going to meet us there to help out, and my mom promised us we could do some shopping there. As I walked out my back door to my moms car, I passed my cherry bomb red mustang with special built in seat heaters. It was cold out so had to force myself to keep walking past my beautiful baby. I reached my moms car and yanked on the handle. Almost immediately I was greeted with grumblings of "Finally". Before we pulled out I gathered up the courage to ask one more time if I could drive my car to Chicago. Her answer was still no. "But mom I'm 17! I'm old enough!" Still no. I sighed in defeat as my mom pulled out of the driveway and tried not to think about how warm and toasty I would've been in my mustang. Soon we hit the highway and I looked over to find my sister texting away at her phone and my brother in the front seat sleeping. I sighed again but this time in boredom. This was going to be a long ride.
