"Ok... that's the last of the treats that I baked, and there! All done!" Angela said, smiling with pride as she finished decorating and setting up the small hangout she was planning to have with her friends.

Angela was dressed up as a character from a small horror series called Marble Hornets, and the character's name was Tim, with a red and black flannel on while wearing jeans with rips on them. She was able to give herself some fake sideburns, a makeshift cigarette, and his mask he wears throughout the series.

"Angela! Remember to give the treaters candy when they ring the doorbell, the candy is right next to the door." Her mom yelled from upstairs.

"Okay Mom!" Angela replied as she checked the time on her phone. 5:36... They should be coming over by now...

She heard the doorbell rang and ran to it, opening the door to see Miguel standing there, smiling shyly as he gave her a small wave. "Hi Angela."

"Hey Miguel! You excited for tonight?"
Angela asked, letting Miguel in and closing the door after he walked in.

"Y-Yeah, I am! When are we going to start the, um, trick or treating?" Miguel asked.

"Around sundown, which would be an hour from now." Angela said, jumping onto her couch. "What are you dressed up as?"

"Oh, um, Imma rapper. Been uh, practicing my rapping skills in Spanish."

"Oh that's cool! How?"

"I've, uh, been reading Spanish children's book out loud really fast. Like, super fast. Really really fast."

Angela laughed softly, nodding her head at Miguel. "I see, different way to do it. But alright! Want some food? Made some sweets with some exotic butters."

"Food! Yes please!" Miguel exclaimed, as he went over to the table that was filled with treats, grabbing as many treats as he could.

Soon, the whole gang came to Angela's home and went out to get some candy. "What time will we stop trick-or-treating to go back and party?" Victoria asked, fixing her lipstick. She was dressed up as a celebrity, Taylor Swift to be exact.

"It's 7:45 right now, so let's hit one of the good houses with the big candy bars, then got back to my house to start the fun stuff." Angela said, pretending to smoke.

"Can't come guys, sorry, Mom wants me to come home early." Stephania said, pouting slightly.

"We are not surprised, also yay! She's leaving!" Kim said, smirking at Stephania's glare.

"Awh, well, have a good Halloween Stephania! We'll see you on Monday at school!" Angela said, waving at Stephania.

"We're headin' back now?" Carmen asked, fixing her sunglasses as she was dressed up as Victoria's bodyguard.

"Yep! C'mon!" Angela said as she lead the way to her house.

"Hey um... Angela?" Miguel asked quietly as he walked next to Angela, the rest of the squad following behind and chatting loudly.

"Yeah Miguel? What's wrong? You seem nervous." Angela asked in a concerned voice.

"I think... I saw... someone... Eh, never mind. It is not... important." Miguel mumbled softly as he kept glancing at random areas.

"What do you mean? There is people everywhere." Angela said, confused about what Miguel was trying to say.

"No I mean... I think someone is following us... They don't seem... friendly..." Miguel whispered into Angela's ear.

She froze slightly at the thought of someone following them. She took a good look around, but saw no one out of the ordinary. But she could not help but have her mother instincts kick in with the thought of a stalker.

"Alright, alright. We just have to act natural and pretend we haven't noticed. Plus we are almost home, we just have to turn the corner and then we are safe!" Angela whispered to Miguel as they both began to pick up the pace with their walking.

"Hey! You guys, why are you walking so fast?" Carmen asked in slight annoyance as she caught up.

"I may be in track but this is not my life style!" Kim shouted.

"Bitch! This is not even running!" Victoria shouted to Kim.

"Oh nothing! Guess cross country is really kicking it in today!" Angela lied as they all made it to her house, pulling out her keys and unlocking her door for her friends to go in.

However, Angela continued to stay outside with Miguel by her side as she looked around. "Miguel... are you sure you saw someone stalking us...?"

"I... I am not sure now... I'm sorry..." Miguel mumbled softly, hanging head down low.

"No! It's ok, you were just trying to be cautious, you did great." Angela said, with a small smile as she placed her hand on his shoulder. "Now lets get inside, it's getting pretty cold out there!"

Then, they walked into the home, closing the door behind them. But before the door can close all the way, a strange black shadow slipped into the tiny crack, and entered the house.
