Chapter Two

The Other Half Of Me.

Gray's POV

Lucy told me that I should keep an eye on this child, sigh, oh well...... But there is something bugging me though, this 12 year old boy is very familiar, I don't know why, but I think I saw him somewhere when I was I kid. Jezz, I have no time for that, it's just my imagination running wild again.... I guess.....

After a few hours of sleep, I flicked eyes open and my eyes grew big when i saw this kid in front of me, he moves a few inches away from my masculine figure and looked at me while tilting his head.

"What are you doing?" I asked confused, he just said nothing my by shaking his head.

"L-Lucy-c-Chan said t-that I shook wake you up for breakfast." He said in a small voice I could see his face blushing.

"Tell her I'll be there in a second, you go ahead." I instructed him, he nodded and left.

After a couple of minutes I went outside, A delightful scent captured my nostrils. Stew, yes! My favorite food (( Sorry if the food had to be a stew, I can't think of anything xD )) I sat down and reached for a plate, but Lucy slapped my hand, ouch.

"Ouch, you wouldn't let me eat your cooking? And how did you know that stew is my favorite? And how come you only made it this day?" I asked like a bratty child.

"I didn't even cook this, and i didn't knew that it was your favorite..." she slapped my hand again dor reaching for the food and then continued, " Let's wait for the cook, and here he comes." 

Lucy smiled genuinely at the boy, he put up some rice and drinks and he sat down besides Lucy, we eat and eat and eat until our plate was very empty and our stomach's full.

"I made it with extra love," the boy said with a smile, somehow those lines reminds me of someone. Natsu waved his hands in front of my face to that he could get my attention.

"You're pretty spaced out man." He giggled.

"Anyway, Alfie..." So that's his name huh.... Alfie.... " How comes you're not a monster like in the village?" Lucy asked, she faced Alfie as the boy trues to sink on his seat, we heard him gasped.

"It's okay buddy, you can tell us, you probably kill all the monsters in your village." Natsu said while munching on a bread.

"I-I did?" The boy asked with his widened eyes, tear suddenly fell on his eyes, "P-Please dont hurt me, I-I'm not a monster." He fell on his seat as he move away from us looking scared.

Lucy reached for him and hugged him, me and Natsu followed and sat beside him on the ground, "We won't hurt you, Ssshhhhh." Lucy calmed the boy and rubs his back.

"Sorry for my sudden outburst," the boy wiped his tears. " When my parents died I used my magic unconsciously, i destroyed half of the village that time, after that I was hated by the people, often called a monster, and then those monsters came who feeds on humans. They killed all the villagers except for me, because they say that i can lure some people, that's why they stayed on the villages and waits for an unknown person to go there and eats them." He said.

"Oh," Lucy responded, not knowing what to say.

"You can't control your power?" I asked.

He nodded, "I haven't used them in years, Gray-san." He said, how come he knows my name?

"How come you know his name?" Natsu asked Alfie, Alfie blushed a little but you can actually see him blushing.

"Do you know my name?" Natsu asked.

"No...S-Sir..." Alfie looked down in embarrassment.

"Do you know her name?" Natsu asked again, a quite jealous perhaps, he wanted to know if Alfie knows Lucy's name

Alfie nodded, "Lucy- nee-chan..." He said in a cute voice.

"WHHHHAAATTT, Oh c'mon, you really dont know who am i?" Natsu exclaimed, you can see birds flying away.

Lucy punched Natsu hard, "Don't scream at him!!" Lucy said with an irk on her face.

"Ahehehe... sorry, Alfie my name is Natsu, please remeber that." Natsu pleaded Alfie while rubbing his bruise on his head made by Lucy.

"I will, Nat.Su.-San.." Alfie said Natsu's name in a cute loli voice, Natsu's face slightly blushes, and i looked at Alfie and in surprise, he looked back at me and he averted his eyes while blushing.

Well, what an unusual event.

Guess I could kill this kid by smiling or maybe smirking at him, hahaha what an idea.

"What is that??" The kid asked Natsu while pointing at his Fairy Tail mark.

"Ah, this? This is my Guild mark." Natsu said proudly.

"I want to be in your guild too~" Alfie said with glittering eyes of hope.

"Sure." Lucy said with a genuine smile.

"But don't you think he is a little too, y'know... old- ish much??" I said while gesturing my hand pointing at the boy.

"Oh, Right. How old are you again dear?" Lucy asked.

"Twelve.." Alfie said while puffing his cheeks to make him even cuter, and he was REALLY cute.

What did I just said *spits mentally*.

"Aw, maybe when you're eighteen." Natsu said.

"Okay, I guess I could wait." Alfie pouted.

Alfie's POV

That was very heartbreaking, I will have to be eighteen to be in their Guild. 

After a few minutes of chatting, we felt that some strangers are outside of our camping site. A twig broke and Natsu-san threw a fireball and two women jumped to avoid it, they landed and then stood up. I saw a woman with a blue hair and another one with a red hair but she looks like a knight or something.

The blue-haired one looked up at us, and hearts suddenly poops out of ther eyes as she saw Gray-sama.

"Gray-sama~!!!!" She shouted and hugged him tight.

Jealousy shot through my body and I just watched them, who is this woman, is she close to Gray-sama?
