Chapter 26: Surprises
Lilly's POV
My heart skipped a beat. How?!? This is awkward...I always had it in the back of my mind it was Jerome
not him... Oh god...
~Flashback~
Lilly is at a party in high school that Eliza dragged her to. They start doing normal party stuffs, but
Lilly stays put, not knowing what to do. Pretty soon, Eliza makes Lilly ACTUALLY paricipate.
"We're playing Seven Minutes In Heaven!" screeched a random person. People went. We waited,
and every seven minutes, switch offs were done. We did it like this: A person was chosen out of the
hat, with everyone's names. They were blindfolded, and then the blindfolded person would go in.
Then, ANOTHER name was chosen. This decided who was going in and out with each other the
easy way. No one ever argued. I waited, praying no one would call my name. I couldn't have been
more unlucky. "Lilly Wench!" they called. I stepped forward. They blindfolded me, and led me to the
closet door. I heard someone say, "Let's mix it up a bit!" I was confused. I drowned out the sound,
not wanting to witness it anymore. Pretty soon, the room was silent. "Hey, Lilly." said a deep voice.
"Hey Lilly," replied another voice, slightly squeaky. I was confused. "W-what?" "They sent in two
of us...because they wanted to mix it up." I felt them sitting right next to me. I want to take off this
blindfold. I felt one of them kiss my lips, and I let them. They let go, just a soft kiss. The other one
kissed me, soft and special as well. I slipped off the blindfold. Two guys from my school were sitting
before me. "Oh my god..uh...hi?" I croaked. "Hey Lil!" squeaked Jerome. "H-hey." muttered.....
Jordan."
~Flashback Ends~
A/N ohemgee whaaaaaaaaat
"Jordan...th-th-that can't be right!" I said. He walked towards us. "Can't it?" he replied. As he grew
nearer, my heart stopped. "I should tell you, after I bought the new apartment, Mom and Dad wanted
you to move in. They want us to get to know each other." "But, wait, it doesn't make sense! The
birth tape! My friend's house!" I cried. "You misheard everything. You were convinced it was him,
because of the DNA test." "I can't leave Mitch. I go, he goes." Jordan shook his head. "Lil, no, listen
to your folks," Mitch said. I turned to him, angry and offended, "MITCH! You just want to get rid of
me?!? I can't believe you!" I screeched. He went to grab me. I took off. I didn't want to look at anything
or anyone. I just wanted to be alone. I sat on a stone wall, staring at the sun setting, and reflecting
off of the ocean. Footsteps were heard behind me. Someone sat beside me. Their hand was
around me. "Hey." they said. I looked. Mitch. I wiggled to get out of his grasp, but his grip around
me was like steel. "I'm not letting you go." he whispered. "Mitch.." I whined. "No, Lil, I love you. I just
don't want you to get hurt." "Mitch that's what they all say but I get hurt anyway!" "No, you won't LIl,
I can promise you that." His eyes were staring right into mine. He leaned in. His lips met mine.
My stomach fluttered. I climbed onto his lap. I wrapped my legs around his waist. I felt his hair in
my fingers, his hands on my cheek. We stayed like this for a long time. I didn't want to leave.
Footsteps again. I pulled back. A hand tapped on Mitch's shoulder. He turned. The hand punched
Mitch in the face.
