When Rain Falls

The Flight

Sam's pov:
"Sam it's time to go!" I hear my mom call me from the living room. I look around my room and my eyes fill with tears. My room that I had lived in all my life. All the memories that were made in here. It was once filled with happiness and color. Now it just makes me sad. It's completly dull like nobody ever lived in this room. I take one last look with a tear slip down my cheek. I turn ouround, walk out of the room and gently close the door. I walk down the stairs and go to my dad. I hug him and can't help it. I feel my whole body collapse as I hug my dad. I sit on the ground sobbing at my dad's feet. He sits down and pulls me close as he starts to sob too. "It's going to be ok. I'll call you every morning and every night." he says with a sad but reassuring look on his face. "Ok" I say. He stands up and grabs my hands to pull me up. I wipe away my tears as I give him one last hug. "I think I'm ready" I say to my mom. We head out to my mom's car and head for the airport. "Oh honey, you'll have an amazing time!" my mom says. "Uhu" I reply. "You'll get to meet your sibling and Andrew!" she says excitedly. Andrew is the man that she cheated on my dad with so the chances of me liking him are very slim. We get to the airport but security takes forever. We hade to run to our plane but we made it.
         Time Passes
"Ok we're here" my mom says as we get out of the car and walk up to the front porch of there house. We walk in. "Kids! Come down here." she says. I hear loud thumps and 4 kids come running down the stairs. "The oldest is Sailor but she's probably out with her boyfriend somewere. She's 18" she says pointing to a girl with long blond hair and bright blue eyes. She's tall and skinny. "Hey Sam nice to meet you" she says with a smile. "Nice to meet you too." I say returning the smile. "Then there's Shawn he's 17" she says pointing to a boy with curly brown hair that looks like mine. He's tall and skinny but still muscular. Except it seems that he focuses more on school. Jusy by the way he talks. "Hi" I say smiling. "Hey" he says doing the same. "This is Skylar he's 16" she says pointing to another boy with light brown hair that's straight. He's shorter than Shawn but is still pretty tall. "Hi" he says with an annoyed voice. I can tell we might have problems. "Then these 2 are Shiloh and Simon they are 15." she says pointing to 2 kids. The girl's hair was long and blond. She's also tall and skinny although she looks athletic. Then the boy had short blond hair with some brown in it. He was also tall, skinny and looked athletic. "Hi" they said kind of ignoring the fact that I was there. They were just on their phone's. "Shawn. Can you show Sam to her room?" my mom asks. "Of course" he says. He shows me to my room. "Ok this is it" he says smiling. "Need any help?" he asks. "No thank you. It's been a long day ya know?" I say. "Ok goodnight" he says hugging me. "Wait." I say. "Yeah?" he replies. "Can you just stay with me. Since you are the only one that's been truely nice since I got here?" I ask. "Of course. I can sleep on the floor." he says. "No it's ok. We're siblings. It shouldn't be wierd." I say. "Ok. I just have to get my pajamas on." he says smiling. "Ok" I say as he walks out of the room. I take of my pants and change into a comfortable shirt that my dad let me have before I left. Shawn comes back in his boxers. "I hope it's ok." he says. "Yeah sure" I say laughing. "Ok." he says joining in on my laughter. We get into bed. "Don't find it wierd if I end up cuddling with you. I'm a cuddler." Shawn says. "That's ok. I am too." I say laughing
Then I cuudle up to Shawn. He raps his arm around me. "Good night sis" he says kissing my forehead. "Good night" I say hugging him. Then I fell asleep.
