*1 year later*

It is currently February 25th 2018, not much happened in 2017. I went to a Shawn Mendes concert and Bruno Mars concert and started Junior year but besides that it kinda sucked. There was a lot of drama between me and some friends so I stopped being friends with them because I HATE drama.

I have a few super close friends Anna, Julia, Jessica, and then from home Stef, Maggie, Hope, Jack, and Brian who I recently started talking to. My birthday is in less than a month so i'm excited for that. Why Don't We went on a tour that's started in October of 2017, but I couldn't go because when they were in Connecticut, I was of course away that weekend in New York City looking at some colleges since it's that time in my life.

it's currently a Saturday and i'm just chilling around my house before I have to go to work, I work at this cute cupcake place the next town over. Today i'm working from 5-9 so I get to close the place down.

The boys said that they have an announcement today at 3:00 EST and it's currently 2:30 so the wait is almost over. I'm hoping it's some new music or a tour, most likely though it's one of the two. The band has definitely grown in the past year. They're super famous now and have been on shows like Ellen, the Late Late Show, and Jimmy Kimmel. (but this is going to happen one day guys)

*3:00 PM*

Any second now I think as I open up twitter. Suddenly at the bottom of the screen I get a bunch of notifications as each of the boys tweet at once.

I click on the one Jack tweeted since they were all the same.

I FREAK OUT. They will be at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut on August 4th.

I check my calendar to make sure I have nothing on that day, and I have work, crap.

The tickets go on sale Friday so I will ask my boss tonight if I can take that day off. If not
I will see if I can make it to either the Boston show, Providence show, or one of the New York shows. It would just be so much more convenient if I could go to Connecticut show.

I retweet the tweet and text Maggie asking if she wanted to go. She freaked out and said she was just about to ask me. We decided I would purchase the tickets when they go on sale and she would just give me the money for her own.

*6 days later*

Tickets go on sale today! My boss was able to find someone to cover my shift the day of the Connecticut show so I don't have to go in. Since neither Maggie and I have not spent money on concerts since the Boston show last year I am going to try and get floor seats since we are both willing to spend a little more. The Shawn Mendes tickets were gifts from my mom to me for my birthday and the Bruno Mars tickets were gifts from my grandparents for my birthday. They decided to spend a little more on gifts since it was my 16th birthday.

It is 4:59 pm and I am on Ticketmasters website. I am waiting for the clock to strike 5:00 so I can purchase the tickets. I have my credit card next to me and I am ready as ever.

5:00 pops up on the bottom right of the laptop and I start getting tickets. The website is slow as hell because I know tons of people are trying to get tickets. Suddenly tickets pop up in my cart and they are FRONT ROW. I've never had this luck before and i'm freaking out. Each ticket is $200 each and I quickly get Maggie on facetime before time runs out to verify she is completely okay with spending that much money on a ticket. I've never spent this much money on a ticket before but i'm willing to for Why Don't We. She says yes and I click next and start putting in my credit card information before the time runs out and I loose my tickets. I select the little box to have the tickets both sent to me via mail as well as an email so if they get lost in the mail I can print them. I click the final button which says the eight letter word i've been waiting for. Purchase.

I click the box and the laptop switches to a new screen.

You just purchased 2 tickets to see Why Don't We on August 4th 2018 at Mohegan Sun!

I SCREAM. IM SEEING WHY DONT WE LIVE IN A BIG VENUE FRONT ROW. I'm reading the ticket information when I see something strange at the bottom.

Meet and Greet starts at 4:00 be there no later than 3:30.

I get super confused and look into the ticket. I bought Meet and Greet tickets. How did I not know, I have no idea but I look at happy Maggie through the phone and let her know how the great news got even better.

"YOURE JOKING SHUT UP" Maggie says and I could tell her heart literally just stopped.

"NO WE ARE MEETING THEM AGAIN I CANNOT." I respond, feeling great in this moment.

I genuinely started crying and then got off facetime with Maggie. As usual I tweet out about the show and then get ready for bed.

As I begin to fall asleep the last thought on my mind is Zach. Will he remember me? and will he act like he did last time?

I know I haven't been consistent with my updates but I've been staying after almost everyday these past few weeks for extra help in spanish and geometry. I'm going to figure out a schedule that is good for me and and update on those days. Thanks for reading!!
