After cake Leo and I snuggled up on the couch to watch a movie. Grease, my favorite.

at some point I must have fell asleep because I woke up to Leo shaking me saying "you have to go to work, Nik. wakey wakey.

I groaned and mumbled "I'm up. I'm up." I stood from the couch and made my way upstairs somehow and showered quickly. after changing into some sweats and a t'shirt I yelled a quick goodbye to Leo and practically ran out the door.

I worked at a gentleman's club, a.k.a a strip club. I know what your thinking. why? because Alpha made us pay to live in our little cottage and its not cheap. a pack is supposed to be a family and maybe they were but they didn't act like it around me. I was only 16 when I started working at the gentleman's club. the owner is an old friend of my mothers and knew I needed a job. he said I could dance but couldn't strip till I was 18, meaning today I finally could. a dancer doesn't get paid as well as a stripper, so I had to work long hours to get a good pay.

I walked the two blocks to the club and slipped in through the back door. at the club I wasn't Nikki anymore. I was Mary. sexy. seductive.

"hey, Mary!"

"Mary!"

all the girls yelled a greeting and I smiled and waved before walking into my dressing room. I grabbed the outfit left out for me and changed into it. fishnet pantyhose and a red lacy thong. tiny black shorts that were practically a second skin. a see-through black shirt and a red lacy bra underneath. I piled on black eyeliner and mascara and put on some glitter. done.

I stepped back and looked at myself. I looked like a whore. something I never wanted to be but I had no other options. I sighed and stepped out onto the stage with the rest of the girls. tonight is my night, some of the girls had said. tonight I was in the front of the stage where everyone could see me. tonight I was in the spotlight. I got into position and started the routine.

A/N : sorry. but this is just a filler chapter. I'm going to try and write another chapter today but there's a huge snow storm. I would love love love if you guys would leave comments. I'm open to criticism and opinions. this is my first story and I would love some help. I don't have an editor and I don't have a computer to write on so I'm writing this on my kindle which isn't easy. so please please please just read it. stick with me until I figure out how to do things.
