Chapter One

Once upon a time, there was a 12-year-old boy named James Young. He had an 15-year-old sister named Scarlet Young.

They moved into their house on July 18th, 2006. Everything was strange from the start. The creaking in the walls, the sounds in the basement. Nothing was right about that house. Their parents said nothing was wrong. "It was only their imagination," but everything was about to change.

All the weird things started getting weirder. One night, James had a dream about a demon who came to him and told him he wouldn't live to meet his wife. He awoke in a panicked sweat.

From then on, he went throughout his days hearing, and even seeing things no one else could. Everyone that he knew was convincing him that he was insane. Only one person believed any of his stories, and that was Scarlet.

The two siblings tried every day to convince their parents that they weren't crazy. They never believed them. The kids would talk to psychics, trying to find out what was happening to James.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It had been two years that James was experiencing these phenomenons, when one day in school, he screamed out some gibberish that had some minor parts in English. The only words that anyone could understand were,"death to all," "coming for you," and "demons,"

He was sent to the principal's office for being obnoxious in class. He ended up getting a two day in-school suspension for "pranking"

Every night, it just got worse and worse for James until he couldn't take it anymore. He had to have people believe him somehow. He tried every day for months, but alas, Scarlet and James were alone.

So they tried calling people. They called random numbers who threatened to call the police. They called more psychics, who said they still couldn't help. Then they resorted to last measures.

They called a team of "ghost hunters." Neither of the kids had ever believed in ghosts, but this was a last resort.

     The phone was picked up,"Hello?"

"I- there's a demon," James stutters,"He says I can't live. I've been seeing him for almost three years now. Please help me. I need an exorcism. My address is 1666 April Lane Amber, Virginia."

"How does noon next Saturday sound?" the hunter asks.

     "Great," responds James.

     "Kay, kid. See ya then."
