The Chosen Ones (A Game Grumps fan fic)

Chapter one: The announcement

The name "Kyle Markus" is a fake name that I'm using. He is an FBI agent in this story, but not a real person. Chevy Park is not a real place either.

Katrina's POV.
   
    I looked at my dad, Arin, staring at his feet. Either he was thinking hard about something or he was trying to scare someone. I looked away to see in the corner of my eye, him smiling. I continued looking back at the T.V which had a show on it.
  
  "RAWR!!!!" Arin yells as he grabs me. I start to laugh which made him laugh. "Scare ya?" He stopped.

   "Yea!" I gigled. He smiled as Dan came back into the room. His face was full of confusion.

    "Dude, what the hell is the news talking about?" Dan asked looking at the T.V. Dad turned the t.v to the news.

     "We have some news here. The FBI has found that 20 people in the U.S are something called the chosen ones. These people have very strong if not supernatual powers. The government has closed down an area called Chevy Park, and they are going to use that area to test everyone in the Los Angeles area. If they find people that are apart of this than he or she's family will be tested as well. Now everyone has to be there otnerwise they say that the person will be put in prison." The newsman said. His words were very serious as he spoke,"This is not a joke."

    Arin stared blankly at the T.V. "This will be happening all month, so you might want to try and get there now." The reporter said.

    I wanted to say something but I just couldn't say really anything. "Gather everyone...." Dad mumbled as he walked off to tell some one.

    "Come on kid." Dan called helping me off the couch.

     "Please, tell me if this is real or not... just..." I mumbled to Dan who listened. He his face changed when I said that.

Dan's POV.
   
    My heart sank when she asked me that. I couldn't answer that question as much as I wanted to.

   "I don't know Katt." I said looking away. "Go get Ross and Barry, and I will get the rest. Okay?"

   She nodded running to the area where Barry and Ross were.

Ross's POV.

    I saw Katrina run into the room where Barry and I were.

    "You heard too?" I asked standing up as she nodded.

    "Come on guys!" She said leading to the front door where everyone else was waiting.

    "Is everyone here?" Kevin asked looking around. Everyone nodded as they all got in the car. We were off to where everyone else in L.A was off to. 

   "Why is this happening now?" I thought as I stared blankly out the window. Seeing all of those cars, probably going to the same place, made me feel a little bit weird. I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked over to see Holly.

   "We will be fine Ross, don't worry." Holly said softly. I didn't reply, but I hugged her. Holly turned back to her window.
 
   I looked behind my seat to see Katrina talking to Dan. I didn't know how she felt about all of this.

    "Scared? Upset? Mad?" I thought as I looked back at the window, seeing the night sky. I soon drifted to slumber.
