"Ouch" You wake up to your head hitting the car window.
"Afternoon sleepy face" Your friend Jordan teased from his seat next to you.
"Jordyyy" you whine playfully. He laughs and tickles you while his mum watches you both in the rear view mirror with a smile. You squeal and try to get away from his hands.
"Wanna sing a song?" Jordan stops tickling you and reaches over the seat in front to grab his mini guitar.
"Sure. Story of my Life by one direction!" you say excitedly. You love that band. Jordan rolls his eyes at your obsession and starts strumming. Jordan sings the first verse and tells you to join in at the chorus.
"The story of my life, I take her home." you sing loudly while Jordan laughs.
"I drive all night. I dont know the next bit" Jordans mum sings over the top of you.
"Nice one Lee-ann" you giggle while Jord continues the song by himself. He finishes singing and put his guitar back on the floor.
"That was fun. Now I'm tired." Jordan leans on your shoulder and literally falls asleep in seconds. You feel a slight pang of jealousy at his ability to go to sleep instantly.
"Has he asked you out yet?" Lee-ann asks from the drivers seat, breaking the silence.
"What do you mean?" you say, confused. "Oh please (y/n). He likes you a lot. And he has good taste too" she adds with a smile.
"Naw Jord doesn't like me. We're just friends. Unfortunatly." You say the last bit under your breath so she doesn't hear.
"You're telling fibs." Jordan whispers in your ear.
"Eeek" You jump with fright, causing his head to fall forward off your shoulder. "You were awake that whole time weren't you?" You say accusingly.
Jordan nods and gives you the puppy dog face then says "Please forgive me."
You roll your eyes and lean on the door. Jordan rests his head on you again and says quietly "My mum is right by the way (y/n)."
You kiss his cheek lightly and fall into a happy sleep for the rest of the drive.
