December 12

(10:00 a.m)

William turned the heater on in the car as we drove off from school.

"That was the most pornographic gym class I have ever been in!" William noted as we drove onto the hard asphalt road back home.

"No, in August when Thomas's short's fell off!" I said with wide eyes.

"I thought you were going to throw up when everyone started laughing." William had a dirty smile on his face.

"I was disgusted. Not exactly what I need to see after breakfast." I laughed.

My cell phone oddly started to ring. I felt my heart jump into my throat. "Hello?" I asked while shaking.

"Natalie?" I heard a deep dramatic voice say from the other end.

"Father?" I breathed into the phone.

When I was a little girl, about 7, my mother was killed in a failed peace agreement between two fellow clans. I remember my father crying his eyes out over my mother and finally attempting suicide because he couldn't live without her. When I turned 8 my father went rogue and I didn't see him again until I was 14. He went right back to his rogue ways after he arrived in the clan.

"Natalie, good you are still in common knowledge of my name." My father whispered into the phone. "I have seen you everywhere Natalie, on that television show. Now why did you leave your mate and child for a silly ballet show?"

"I didn't, I do the show in my free time." I muttered. "Now why are you calling me? How the Hell did you get my number?"

"I got your number from a good friend of mine... Now, Natalie didn't I ever tell you that it isn't polite to swear?" Father whispered.

"Probably not," I murmured. "Now, tell me why are you calling me?"

"I am just calling to tell you that you need to use you're training very carefully for the next few months... You are going to need it!" Father whispered and hung up the phone afterwards.

"Hello?" I asked realizing the line was dead.

What training? My ballet training or my... oh no! My assassin training!

My father at one point was a hit-man. He used to kill people that big time business men or some other rich people. My father would take the money and then kill who ever the payers would want to kill.

I used to enjoy hearing about my father's adventures. When I was 3, I shot a gun for the first time, hitting the target dead center of the target. Father said I was a natural and taught me everything I ever needed to know about being an assassin. My mother didn't like the thought of me ever killing anyone... so she stopped my training and put me in ballet.

I still practice my gun work because I need to keep myself in good shape just in case...

"I thought you said your father was dead!" William said sounding either pissed off or really concerned.

I bit my lip in a guilty way. "I thought he was dead... apparently I was wrong." I whispered with my head down, submissive to my mate.

William pulled over into a small camping area. "Now tell me the truth," William said as he locked the doors of the car.

"I thought he was dead!" I told him honestly.

"No, I meant what the phone call was about!"

"I have no idea." I lied. "He just called to tell me in a creepy way to keep myself under the radar."

William just looked straight ahead with a bored look on his face. "Tell me the truth Natalie. I know he said more than that."

"He told me to keep up with my training." I whispered.

"Why would he call and tell you about your ballet training?" William asked with an odd smile on his face. He even started laughing at my father telling me to keep up with my ballet training.

Thank God!

"Thank God what?"

"Nothing..." I whispered with my head down.

"What?" William asked with a more serious tone.

I stared at him dead in the eye. "If I told you, you'd wish I never told you!"

"Tell me, mates aren't supposed to have secrets with each other." William reminded me of the very same code that tore my parents apart.

"When I was a child, I used to kill people for money." I said with a look of pure guilt on my face.

William then just smiled and laughed at me. "Natalie! I have known you long enough to know that you are lying. No offense darling but you are rather innocent."

Good! He doesn't believe me! I sighed.

"Your probably lying. Natalie! I have know you since I was 8, I am sure you weren't murdering people!"

I played images in my head of the people that father sent me into kill into my head. I allowed William to openly explore my memories. Eventually he will find the old memory of that creepy child molester father sent me into kill.

William developed a disgusted look on his face. "What? Did you see me in that pink doll outfit?"

"No! God! Natalie what the Hell happened to that squirrel?"

I started laughing. I shot a squirrel and I only hit its ear, so he went earless for the rest of his life. "Nothing,"

(10:30 a.m)

"Your father was a hit-man?" William asked.

We are now sitting on the grass by the area we parked. I am sitting indian styled on the grass playing with a weed.

"Yes," I said.

"Why the Hell was he in our clan if he was a hit-man?"

"I don't know! The most I know is that he is the uncle of our current alpha." I muttered.

"How many people did he make you kill?" William asked looking at my in a more serious way.

"Thirty, forty? He didn't exactly make me kill them, I just went on with his plans."

"Can you shot a gun?" William asked.

"Yes, before my father went rogue I was in the middle of sniper training." I said in a more guilty voice.

"Snipers?"

"Yes, you know the gun that resembles a rifle but..."

"I know what a sniper is, how the Hell did you learn how to use these weapons?"

"My father used to drive into the woods and shoot at long and short range targets." I explained.

"How old were you? I mean when you first killed someone?"

"Four," I said looking William dead in the eye.
