The world is not as secure as you may think or know. In this world even the law has a boundary it may never exceed, there are those with money and power that cannot be punished by normal means. It is to this end that the world saw the birth of The Sanctum. A group of individuals who operate outside of the laws of man and take the untouchable and make them pay for their crimes. The Sanctum is everywhere and watches everyone. Their agents could strike at anytime should you come under their all seeing gaze.

Founded in the late 1600s by a lesser nobleman known as Alistair Ramon, The Sanctum was used to capture the men who beat and torture the nobleman's son to the point of him committing suicide. The Police at the time were unable to find the culprits due to lack of evidence and that another nobleman was paying some of the investigation teams to avoid the investigation, This was then foiled by The Sanctum and became the story passed down to each member when they join the ranks of any chapter.

Nowadays the Sanctum is much larger with chapters all over the world. Each chapter is headed by a Guardian Master. These men report to the inner circle of the Sanctum known as The Ten Fathers.

The Sanctum abides by a strict code of honour. These seven rules have been kept in place for hundreds of years dating back to when The Sanctum was first founded, created to mirror the seven sins. They are as follows:

The Sin of Wrath: No sanctum member is to ever take a life. All brought before The Sanctum are to be taken to the right authorities

The Sin of Greed: Should those captured have a bounty on their heads, the bounty is to be donated to the families of those harmed by the perpetrator not for the personal gain of the Sanctum member

The Sin of Pride: The Sanctum works in secret, no member may divulge the existence of the Sanctum to outsiders unless given the authority to do so should they wish to add this person to the ranks of the Sanctum chapter.

The Sin of Sloth: If a higher member of the Sanctum approaches you for a task or mission you must accept it.

The Sin of lust: No two members of the Sanctum can be in a relationship. You may have a relationship with an outsider as long as you follow the Sin of Pride.

The Sin of Envy: No Sanctum member must commit a crime.

The Sin of Gluttony: Members of the Sanctum must not over indulge in their personal demons. Members must exercise control over their personal demons.

By following these sacred and ancient rules a member will uphold the law with their commitment to the Sanctum.

"We are the higher power that controls the filth of man. Sanctumin nos homines."

official motto of The Sanctum.
