"Ah..smells like forgetfulness." Tord said.

"What?" Tom asked he was laying in bed, trying to remember who he was, or who was right in front of him.

"Nothing. But it does right? Smells like it." Tord said, he caressed Tom's hair.

"....yeah..."

Tom started closing his eyes, once more.

Was it the memory eraser gun? Why can't I remember? Do I have alzheimers? Tord asked himself as he slept.

He couldn’t remember a damn thing. But did he really need to?

Tom started hearing random whispers, then laughter, then silence. Tord wasn't with him, he didn't even know where he went.

"Mnn." Tom looked out the window. The sky was dark, it felt like it was just morning, but it was dark now.

Tom looked outside, one second the sky was dark, the next a green light filled the sky.

"..HUH?!" Tom shouted, his eyes got bigger as he looked at the sky.

"W-why is it green!?" Tom whispered to himself. He went out the door, and looked at the top of the roof of the house.

There was a big machine. And Tord was standing right next to it. Tord didn't notice Tom just yet.

"What are you doing?!" Tom shouted, that was where he got Tord's attencion.

"Ah-? Oh, Hey Tom!" Tord said he smiled and waved down at Tom, "Wanna help?"

Tom looked around the place, all the city lights were off, except their house. But no one noticed. Then he looked up at Tord again.

"Wh-"

"-Get up the ladder," Tord said he pointed at a ladder right next to the roof, "Come help me!"

Tom went up the ladder and looked at the machine.

"Did you make it?" Tom asked he looked up the green sky.

"Yep. Can you guess what it is?" Tord asked him.

"Uhh. I don't know."

"It's a memory eraser gun! But twice it's size!" Tord said, he had a remote in his hands.

Tord looked at Tom, he wasn't impressed or anything. Like he had forgotten why he was there.

"Do you know why I made this?" Tord asked, he smirked.

Tom shook his head.

"To tell everyone I was wrong of course!!" Tord shouted, "With this I can erase everyone's mind, they can forget everyone who ever came into their lifes!! They can be happy without their happy memories!!"

Tord laughed, an evil laugh, he looked at the sky that was turning greener and more evil than before.

Tord looked at Tom, he was still laughing, "Hmm..You know what, I think the little power this machine had at first might have affected you, and that's why you don't remember.."

Tom looked at him confused, "Ok."

Tord grabbed Tom's hand, "Wanna do the work?"

Tord placed the remote on Tom's hands, "Just click on the button, and the whole world will forget who they even are! Including us!" Tord said, he laughed once more.

Tom didn't even hesitate. He clicked the button.

That was when the whole sky turned red.
