Part of me is dark green-
mysterious and quiet
smart and witty
throwing phrases to friends.
But on the inside, I am aqua,
as loud and rumbling as a rive-
unreserved and humorous, yet sensitive to criticism,
deep laughter resonating through my stomach in
the presence of my friends.
Yet both are essential,
because both are me!
