I remember the first time I saw him. My first thought was damn.

He was standing outside with some friends and the sun was hitting him perfectly. He was confidently standing with his feet shoulder width apart, arms crossed over his chest, slightly squinting.

I was walking towards a small group of my friends.

Obviously I was too scared to talk to him, so all I did was look.

My heart stopped when he looked over at me. Our eyes met and I was smitten.

One look was all it took.

When our eyes met he seemed to stutter, but I was probably just imagining that.

After our eyes met, I quickly looked away, much to my dismay. I was too scared to hold the attention, so I returned to my friends.

I hoped he was still looking.
