A letter to you.
You and I- we weren't like any other two people on the street. Seems cliche, but it was true.
No, we weren't dating, or romantically interested in each other. Childhood friends to platonic soulmates.
Yeah, platonic soulmates. We had an unbreakable tie, one that would last until our death.
Your eyes were so beautiful, full of emotion, and life; then something happened.
Something happened that turned your soul and heart black, something that you never told me, something that i wasn't there for.And I am so, so, sorry.
I left for a seven year long journey, returning to my ancestors home up north, to maintain and go through life training process. I never forgot you, and kept in touch with you, but there was something I missed.
I did see your downfall slowly, and then one night you called me, crying. I couldn't be there physically, but I was talking to you for at least an hour.
We've worked past that, and the physical hurt has gone. Relapsed once, but not again.
The mental pain is still there, however, and that can never truly heal.I'm here for you, always, and I love you.
My best friend.
Don't fade like last night's sun.
We walk, we talk, we have fun. Don't let that end anytime soon.
