Chapter 1

TYLERS POV

OMG gurl look at him over there in all his glory. His hair in a quiff and his green eyes sparkling with laughter as he talks to one of his best friends Lily. In case you don't know I'm Tyler Oakley (yes the famous youtuber) and I have the biggest crush on my best friend Conner Franta (yes the youtuber). I've had these feelings for him ever since we met and over that time the feelings have only gotten stronger. AHHHH! Why does he have to be straight? Why do I have to be that one gay guy who in all the stories falls for his straight best friend?

Dear lord what have I done to upset thee in such a way that I deserve this? I've tried dating other guys but I can barely get through one date with them before I compare them to Conner and once I do that I can't see them again because they will never compare to my honey-booboo. Just watching him interact with his friends and be so happy makes my heart constrict with love. Seeing him like this only cements the things that made me fall for him, he's so social and just is an all around people person. He's so comfortable being in the spotlight and it shows when you see his confident smile and bright eyes.

Oh here he comes now smiling at me and walking with this sexy swagger that makes me want to just ravish him right here regardless of his friends being in the room. I can smell his cologne and natural musk and it makes my mouth water the closer he gets to me.

"Hey Tyler so me and Lilly are heading out to get some lunch, you wanna tag along?"

"No you guys go ahead I've got to meet up with Ricky to help him with his next video and I'll just grab some food with him."

"Ok well I'll see you back at the apartment then and remember don't stay out too late we have a test first thing in the morning."

"Yeah I remember see you for our good luck dinner."

I watched as he walked out to his car with Lily and left, taking my heart with him. I walked out and got into my own car, then headed off to IN-N-OUT to meet up with Ricky. When I got there Ricky was just heading outside to our usual table with our food and thank goodness cuz I am hungry and I needs to eat me some burgers and fries.

"Hey gurl I'm so glad you got the food already I feel like I'm dying over here."

"So what is it you wanted to talk to me about? You sounded nervous when you asked me to meet you here yesterday."

"Well it's just I needed someone to talk to about something cuz I need to get this off my chest. There's this guy I really like but it's so hopeless and I just don't know what to do I feel like my heart is ripping in two over here."

"Who is this guy and why do you feel like it's so hopeless? I mean any guy would be lucky to have you so what's wrong with this guy?"

"There's nothing wrong with him it's just me. I'm so stupid for falling for him."

"Well who is he? I bet I can talk some sense into him."

"It's uhm well it's Conner."

"I knew it!"

"What?"

"Please it's so obvious that you like him. I mean everyone knows it! Well... everyone except him."

"Oh my god no he'd freak if he found out! How has he not found out? Why does he have to be straight?"

"Are you blind he's gay and in case you haven't noticed he's had the biggest crush on you for like ever. I mean we've all just been waiting for you both to get together and it's very frustrating cuz you guys keep avoiding it."

"No way I don't know what you're talking about but he's straight and even if he wasn't he has plenty of other people who he could be with. He'd never go for me and it sucks but I've learned to accept it. Anyway, I've got to go or I won't have time to make my good luck test dinner, bye Ricky."

I ran back to my car and drove back to the apartment I share with Conner trying to stop the tears threatening to spill out and ignore the painful constricting of my heart. I made our dinner and we watched The Grammy's before both slipping off to our separate rooms to rest up for tomorrow. I fell asleep thinking about what Ricky had said to me and trying to figure out why he would tell me such a thing, it was torture to hear about what I would never have but still my heart was hopeful that one day he'd be mine.
