I neatly folded all my cloths back into my suitcases. Tonight was our last night in Honolulu, Hawaii before we fly out next morning to go back to the contestants house.
Cal, Ty, and I are all going to go to this nice little restaurant by the beach tonight before leaving.
It was barely around two o'clock when Cal busted into the living room, where I was staying since Ty and him took the room, with his phone in his hand, a panic look upon his face.
"They want a video." He panicked.
"Who does," Ty asked, popping a grape into his mouth. A bowl full of them sat in front of him on the mini kitchen counter, where he stood behind, eating his grapes.
"Secret Rumors does. What are we supposed to do? They think we are in California right now." Cal looked at Ty for a solution.
"Didn't you tell them that we moved locations," I asked confused.
"No," he responded. "Of course not. Why would I? They don't need to know where we go every single minute of every single day," he angrily stated.
"But it's been more than a day. It's been a week. And what's so bad about them knowing. It's not like you're going to get into trouble and they're going to kick you off the show and me along with you because you're my coach," I reasoned.
"That's exactly what they will do if they found out."
"Oh." Didn't see that one coming.
"I got an idea," Cal called out, cutting off the silence that surrounded us. "We could make it look like we are in California since my house is practically by the beach-"
"More like on the beach." I interrupted him.
"Yes, ok. On the beach, so it practically looks like we are there already. We've got the palm trees and the echoing sound of crashing waves in the background. It's perfect."
"You do know that, Hawaii and California may seem alike, beach wise, but are not even close in similarities. Hawaii has this soothing feeling that California can't even closely compare to." Ty butted in, revealing his thoughts.
"It's not like they are going to notice." Cal tried to reason.
"They will notice all right. They will notice."
"Yeah, now that you have jinxed it."
"Nope, it's been further than that. Since you told us your brilliant idea." Ty exaggerated, rolling his eyes.
"Anyways, back to my solution. We'll just record by the window-" I cut him off. It's seriously becoming an habit now. I always cut him off.
"Why don't we just record by a wall. Ain't that the least obvious we could get. They won't even know what state we are in. Nevertheless, on an island.
"Why do you always cut me off," Cal whined. "Fine. We'll just record by the wall."
"Smart, Everly," Ty signaled for a high five, so I slapped my hand against his to return it. "You're still an idiot Calibur."
"What?! That's ridiculous."
"You're ridiculous. Now get to work and start that video." He walked away, leaving the room all together.
In just seconds, we got a move on things. We decided to place two chairs against one of the plain, light greenish walls and opened a window so the breeze could waft in since it was a bit hot after a while of organizing things around the room to make it look as plain as possible but still look nice since they believe we're at Calibur's house.
