Blake and Blair were always thought of as the perfect match.

Whatever Blake loved, Blair loved.

Whatever Blair loved, Blake loved.

When one shined, so did the other.

When one was down was the other.

They were always there for eachother and no one could think of a time that the two weren't completely in love.

One cool September day, Blair was applying pink nail polish when a text came from her friend. It said two words: One Direction. She researched them and was completely infatuated with them. After listening to their music nonstop, she became a major directioner and Blake, being the perfect boyfriend, supported them too. Her realized that if he couldn't be one of the boys, he could at least become a directioner too. She was excited out of her mind that two of the best things in her life could be close together. Blake actually genuinely liked 1D and she was happy about that.

Blake Rae's family was always poor. At age 12, his mom committed suicide and he had to provide for both his little sister, Charlotte, and his now vacant dad. Although it was hard, he managed to get into all the best schools on scholarship and make his family proud. He was the smartest and best-looking boy in his grade. Blake had chocolate colored hair, big blue eyes and perfect pink lips. He was athletic and the target of every girl in the school's fantasies. Even though, he knew this, Blake never tried to use it to his advantage and he actually hadn't had many serious girlfriends before. In his early years, people had mistaken him for a bit of a player because he had plowed through so many girls, but really, all along, he had only wanted Blair Devereaux.

Blair Devereaux never really saw herself has beautiful or even pretty. But, everybody told her she was. Financially, she was the opposite of Blake. Her father had once been the most prominent plastic surgeon in America. Ironically, everyone in the Devereaux family was naturally good-looking and never needed plastic surgery. Most people of her status were stuck-up and aimed to be socialites, but Blair wanted to go to Harvard, change the world and become a doctor. She had long, raven hair and shiny blue eyes. Nobody had really noticed her until she was 13, but she never really cared for social status anyways. If you were to ask someone who knew her about Blair, they would've said something like, "nice, charming and selfless". Because that's what she was. Blair really was the kind of girl to be jealous of.

You know those people in life that you just really want to hate because you're jealous of them, but just really can't because they're so nice? That was Blair.

For their 3rd year anniversary of being boyfriend and girlfriend, Blake had finally scraped together enough money to buy them two tickets to the 1D concert. Although he had pretended like it was no sweat when he handed her the tickets, he had planned this out for months and months. He took on 3 extra jobs after school to get the money together. He just loved her so much. At one point in every relationship, one person will always love the other more. And that person was Blake. He was just so passionate, his mother used to worry for him because she didn't want a girl to break Blake's heart. Blair also loved him, just not to that extent. Blake would die for her. She wouldn't die for him. Blair always felt distant because she was always numb. Her mother had also died when she was young. Her mother died in a plane crash. After feeling that pain, she had never really collected herself and put all the pieces back together. That's why she admired Blake so much. He had managed to not only pull through, but excel.

She was so happy with the tickets and counted down everyday until the concert and constantly blabbed to Blake about it. If she was happy, he was and he anticipated it with great joy.

The day of the concert, she wore dark wash jeggings with a flowy white shirt and blue flats. She left her hair down and put a little makeup on. Blake came to pick her up and off they went to the concert. Her heart was pounding and she couldn't even think straight. To a normal person, they would've thought she was insane. But a true fangirl could understand her excitement at seeing her world in front of her, her idols. She could picture her giving Niall Horan, her personaly favorite, a peck on the cheek. And she couldn't stop smiling...

Finally they arrived at the spacious stadium filled with girls just as excited as her. She found a good spot and suddenly the lights dissapeared.

A voice came on, "The lights are gone....the boys are coming," it announced.

Cheers errupted and everyone wasn't even trying anymore to hold in their excitement.

Blair was biting her lip with anticipation and finally, the boys ran onstage lead by Liam, singing What Makes You Beautiful. Her stomach began to churn and her head couldn't function right. She felt tears coming on and couldn't stop the million thoughts racing through her head. She was crying with joy.

The boys were allowed to invite one lucky girl onstage and Blair knew it wouldn't be her. She always had bad luck. But, nonetheless, the spotlights began to revolve around the stadium with Niall directing where to stop. His clear, blue, beautiful eyes settled on Blair and he pointed at her.

"What's your name?" he spoke into his microphone.

Blair shouted, 'BLAIR!" but over all the pandemonuim, she was inaudible. So, Niall held his hand out to her and pulled her onstage. She seemed infatuated with her and couldn't stop looking at her. It was a bit embarrassing, but who cares? THIS IS NIALL HORAN! She looked over at Blake for reassurance and sure enough, he was standing there smiling at her. He was just happy that she was happy.

With confidence, she held Niall's hand and waved at all the boys. They waved back. After the song was over, she went back into Blake's arms and laughed and laughed because that was the best moment of her life. Next up, was One Thing. This was her favorite song off of the whole album and they were allowed to invite up 2 girls this time. But, Niall still invited her up. Suprisingly, none of the fans screamed, "boo", but just stared lovingly at them. By now, she had actually begun to consider that Niall liked her but realized it was probably just because she seemed the most insecure. Who cares? After the concert, she waited for the meet and greet. She wondered if Niall would remember her, at the thought, she blushed.

It turns out, he did. The moment she walked up to them, the boys all elbowed Niall and winked. Louis leaned over to him and whispered, "She's a 10. It's alright, you can have her. Go get her little Irishman!" Niall blushed and shoved him. Louis, being the most dramatic, fell off his chair and yelled, "SECURITY! THIS STRANGER THREATENED TO RAPE ME!" The security seemed familiar with his antics and rolled their eyes.

Niall looked into Blair's eyes and quickly cast them away, in a cute Irish accent, he mumbled, "Uh, you were the girl that I invited up, right?"

Blair was also shy, "Haha, actually twice, but yeah, I'm her."

He looked back up at her, "Blair, right? I'm Niall  Horan."

Blair found this hilarious for some reason and laughed.

"Haha, yeah I'm pretty sure I know that." she joked.

Niall blushed again. Boy, this kid blushes a lot, she thought to her self.

"Sorry, I always forget that I'm famous," he quickly slurred.

"Wait--no, not that I'm famous or anything. I mean-- I'm, okay nevermind," he eased.

He seemed nervous. Maybe he hadn't gotten enough sleep last night.

Finally, he asked for her number and she got his.

Blake drove her home and it wasn't until she had burshed her teeth, washed her face and lay down that she had realized it had been an amazing night.

Blake was happy that she had met the boys and felt so content with himself. He also knew that Niall was Blair's deam guy and was fine with their brief flirtation.

If only he knew that it would turn into something more....
