Date Night
"Hello?"
"Hey sexy woman, are you busy?" he asked.
"Not at the moment. I just got out of a meeting. Why what's up," she asked?
"Well I was wondering when you get off work?" he asked.
"I am working until six thirty this evening, why," She quizzed?
"Well I was thinking we should have a date night tonight," he suggested.
"Date night huh? We haven't had one of those since; what month is this," she asked?
"Oh, you are such a comedian," he joked back.
"Seriously, it has been a long while since we have had an actual date night," she pressed.
"I am all too aware of that my love. Lately I feel as though we are like two ships passing in the night," he stated.
"I know babe. I have been feeling the same way," she confessed.
"Our schedules have been so hectic and with the two of us working opposite hours I find I am missing you more and more with each dreadful day," he whined.
"Awe, aren't you just the sweetest thing ever," she cued.
"Seriously, it has been weeks since we have actually got to spend any quality time together and it makes my heart hurt not being with you." he cried.
"I completely understand my love. I nearly broke down in tears today while listening to one of the girls in the office talking about her upcoming wedding," she choked.
"Why is that sunshine," he asked?
"Well, it made me think of our wedding and how beautiful it was. Then it made me realize just how badly I am missing you," she sighed.
"I am missing you too love. That is why I want to have a date night tonight. We both have the evening off together for the first time weeks and I am dying to hold you in my arms." he replied.
"What else did you have in mind," she teased?
"I am glad you asked," he laughed.
"Oh my, is that what I think it is?" she swooned while looking at the picture he just sent her.
"What?" he asked
"That red and black thing lying there at the end of the bed," she pointed out.
"Oh that," he giggled. "Why yes it is," he chirped.
"Wow, you haven't worn a thong since our wedding night!" she exclaimed.
"Now that I am toned back up and I no longer have to make two trips just to haul ass; I thought I would wear it especially for you tonight." he replied.
"That is the funniest and yet sexiest thing I have heard in a while," she laughed.
"Where are you right now?" he asked.
"I am in the parking lot by the car, why do you ask?" she replied.
"I am modeling them for you as we speak," he teased; hitting the send button on his phone.
Bing.
"Holy crap! I nearly dropped my phone," she exclaimed.
"That good huh?" he laughed.
"Oh my God yes!" she confessed.
"Really?" he breathed. "Good because I am sending you one more pic," he teased.
"Oh God," she gasped.
Bing!
"I'll be home fifteen!" she squealed.
"You better make it ten," he softly growled. The conversation ended.
