There are lots of precipitating factors leading to psoriasis. The grade and intensity of it varies from person to person according to one's lifestyle and dietary habits. Weather conditions also play an important factor as symptoms are aggravated in winters.

5- Hair fall: Scaling in the scalp may lead to scratching of the scalp due to which hair fall may occur if the grade of psoriasis is very intense. The scaling of scalp may be so intense that one will be able to find flakes throughout the shoulder which is because of the scratching of the scalp by the patients.
