『Vena's P.O.V』

It was like any other Sunday afternoon, at about 1. I was sitting in my living room playing video games, trying my hardest to get through the section of the game I was at. It always frustrated me getting to the part I was at in Tales of Symphonia, Welgaia, anyone who played the game would have to agree that going through Welgaia was really annoying. I was still pondering whether to go to church or stay home and play games. After about three more minutes of attempting to solve the puzzle, I gave up, and turned off the game. I quickly got dressed and decided to spend the rest of the time till I would church, watching videos. Mainly RPG Horror videos, they were always fun to watch. I pulled up one of my old favorite RPG horror videos, Killer Bear, I always enjoyed it because how bizarre and creative the game was, not to mention that I liked the games graphics. 

I was only about 15 minutes into the video when my older sister, Maggie, started screaming at me. "Vena, if you are going to church we have to be there by 1:45! It's 1:15 let's go!" I sigh, turn off the video, put on my shoes, and follow the overly energetic 18 year old out the door. She always wanted to go to church early. I never understood why, we just have to wait outside. 

"Why are we even going to church this early?" I say in a rather dull voice. We had just made it to church and Maggie was trying to see if the door unlocked. To no one's surprise, it was. 

"Darn.." she said as she turned around, ignoring my question completely. I punch her arm. "Ow, what was that for, idiot?"

"Answer my question." I say spitefully. 

"We're going hiking today!" she says energetically. I just stare at her for a good moment before walking off, only to bump into a guy. I look up and see that I walked right into Ralph. 

"Oops," I say as I try to leave the scene. I wasn't exactly thrilled to go hiking. I hated the outdoors, since I burnt easily and it was always bright. I, preferably, liked to stay inside either watching YouTube or playing video games. 

"Vena, long time no see. You're going hiking with us today?" Ralph asked, obviously happy to see that I actually showed up for once. 

"Nahh, just dropping Mags off." I say shrugging. 

"Just stay." Maggie said, butting into the conversation.

"Fine, fine, I'll stay." I say as Ralph unlocks the church door for us.
