I know that all this is a lie
The fake hopes and momentary dreams
The thumping is loud
How long it'll go on I wonder
Why the sudden fright
When all my life I have stayed
Allowing to be crushed
Why now the need for a new beginning
For a life where I can rise my head
And cry out loud I'm me
You've no idea how much you've broken me
But thank you because I've learnt to rise
Now I lie somewhere in the midst of nowhere
With a will and hope so strong that
I shall shine...
