I slowly got up and walked into the small bathroom.

It was just a dream Alaska, calm down.

I told myself and splashed with shaky hands some water in my face.

I looked at the clock, 2:36am.

This was the third nightmare in four days. And everytime it was the same dream.

He slowly approached me, with that disgusting smirk on his face. Like always, he smelled like pure alcohol, again. The bastard has been drinking.

Again.

And again, there was no one who could help me to get away from him.

"Alaska.. be a good girl and come here."

I didn't answer, just stared at him with wide, scared eyes.

"Alaska! Come here, or so help me god i'll make you suffer!"

He said slurred harshly and lunged at me with the bottle in his hand.

I let a painful scream out.

"He's not here..he's not here, calm down."

I told myself.

I hugged myself and let the tears fall.

No matter what i tried, I'd always rememeber those days.

And no one was trying to help us.

A quiet voice in my head said.

It was true. I had no one, you'd think my pack would care about me or try to help me.

Instead of helping me, they treat me like their own slave. After what happened, everyone thought of me as the quiet, yet crazed girl without her parents.

And what did they do? They took advantage of the mental girl.

I mean, why not? It's not like I have a choice.

No one cared. I had no one.

I just felt numb, it's like no humanity was left in me. I was breathing, but I wasn't alive.

Just another breathing robot on this world.

Nothing more.

I was so lost in my thoughts, that I didn't hear the sound of my door getting opened, until I felt someone's presence behind me.

I stiffened.

Slowly turning around, I saw that it was only Emilia.

I slightly relaxed, and gave her a small smile.

She was the little daughter of the Beta, and the only one who I actually talked to.

She was only 10 years old, but still a better company than the other kids.

She looked up at me and gave me a terrified look, her big green eyes wide open.

"You have to go."

She lowly whispered , as if someone was listening to our conversation.

I furrowed my eyebrows and looked at her, confusion written all over my face.

I kneeled down, so I was on eye level with her.

"What do you mean, "I have to go" ?"

I whispered back.

Maybe it was just another game of hers. We used to play alot when we were younger.

"Alaska, you have to go."

She demanded.

"Emilia, what are you talking about?"

I asked her, fully alerted. She was never this serious.

She nibbled on her lower lip and turned around to look if someone was standing there.

She took tiny steps towards me and got closer.

"I heard my Daddy and the Alpha talking bad about you."

She mumbled.

What?

"Emilia, I'm used to it. People always talk bad about me behind my back. Go to sleep it's late."

I tried to push her out of my room before someone would see me with her.

I wasn't allowed to talk to anybody.

Emilia was standing there stubbornly and looked frustrated. I would have laughed, she just looked too cute.

"Alaska, they just didn't talk bad about you. They said they want to get rid of you."

She had tears in her eyes.

I stopped to breathe for a second, and let the information sink in.

They wanted to get rid off me.

All I did was please them by following their orders, and now they wanted to kill me.

I took a deep breath.

"Emilia are you sure that's exactly what you've heard?"

I mean she's a 10 year old. Maybe it was just a misunderstanding.

She nodded and looked up to me.

"Please go away. I don't want Daddy or the Alpha to hurt you."

Her lower lip quivered.

I took her into a bone crushing hug and tried to calm her down.

"Hush, please don't cry. I'll leave as soon as I can. Thank you for telling me this Emilia. You saved my life."

My voice cracked and i hugged her again.

I'd miss her, but staying alive was my first priority.

Emilia was sitting on my bed, while I was packing my stuff quickly. It wasn't much, since I hadn't much money and the pack didn't care about my well being.

I was almost finished packing , but one thing was missing.

I walked towards my bed and picked up the little box under my pillow.

Slowly walking into the bathroom, I stood infront of the mirror.

I opened the little box and carefully took out the necklace, which my mother gave me before she died.

She told me it was tradition in her family to pass the necklace to the daughter on her 18th birthday.

I smiled sadly and put the necklace around my neck, watching how it glistened in the pale moonlight.

It looked out of place on my pale skin, but I didn't care.

Making my way back to the bedroom, I saw Emilia still sitting on my bed patiently.

"I think I'm ready."

I told her and sighed.

She just nodded and came up to me and gave me a tight hug.

"I'll miss you."

She whispered and nuzzled her face in my hair.

"I will miss you too. Be a good girl while I'm away."

I gave her a sad smile and kissed her forehead.

She wiped away her tears. Leaving her alone here, was breaking my heart.

But I had no other choice.

Getting up and taking my backpack, I gave her a last smile and wave before disappearing out of the window.

I ran as fast as I could. I didn't know where to go, I just wanted to leave this place.

This is like a sick version of hide and seek.

The only difference is that i'll be dead at the end of the game.
