Your POV
Today was the day that I had to find a prince. I always hated this day, it took way too long. And I don't just want a guy that I don't know and that I don't love. I want true love, not fake love. I could already hear the chatter of many guys my age as I got ready. I walked into the ballroom where the event took place wearing a puffy, elegant f/c dress with my h/l h/c hair brushed neatly to one side. All the guys looked up in marvel and awe. They then all bowed as I walked down the stairs. My parents, the king and the queen, were waiting for me in front of the thrones. "Hello sweety! Today's a big day as you can tell!" My mom chirped happily, dad was glaring at all the guys. I sighed, "You've been saying that for what, this is the 5th year we went through this?" I asked, she patted my head. "Don't worry! I done the exact same thing! Just take your time!" She said, stepping up and then announcing, "Welcome young princes!" She started, "We gather you here today to see who our beautiful daughter will choose to be her Prince!" My dad then stepped up and spoke, "If she picks any of you treat her well!" He said with a loud, serious voice. They all nodded. Then it began, this horrible event of fake love. I don't get this family sometimes. One by one, in a single file line all the guys lined up. And then one by one I denied them. They were all the same, douchy pricks that thinks that they know everything. Almost four hours passed and finally there was no more pricks introducing themselves. I wanted to just fall in love with someone, not pick from the same kind of people every year. I picked no one from the giant crowd of guys. They were all dismissed and my father turned to me with an angered expression, "Why didn't you pick any of them?!" He said, almost yelling at me. "I don't want to just pick someone from a crowd of the same people every year. Every year you find the douchiest pricks in the land! They're all royal pricks dad! I want to fall in love with someone! Not act like I love someone!" I yelled, storming off to my room. I pulled off my shoes and dress,  putting on a more comfortable outfit on. (I was planning on making it a asuna like outfit. But its your decision! You can make is anything but a ballroom gown and/or a fancy dress. Sorry if I limited anyone's choices >.> ) I sat on the windowsill, looking out the window. The village seemed lively today, brighter, even more colorful. It was beautiful. "How come the villagers get to find who they want to marry and I have to be forced into loving someone." I whispered to myself, I could only smile at the thought of been a villager. It would be nice to work a couple hours a day and then come back to a loving family. A baby boy, a beautiful girl, and a handsome husband. The thought only made me smile more. It all seemed so perfect. I looked around my room and seen a rope, I stared at it, trying to think of something I could do with it. I looked down from my window to see where the ground outside was, examining it thoroughly. I looked at the rope once again and an idea sparked, the spark then caused a flame of emotions to burn inside me. "I'm going to do this! I will find someone I love!" I said to myself, I got the rope and once again hit another bump on this adventurous journey for love. Where was I to tie the rope so that I don't plunge to my death? I looked around still trying to think of something. I looked at bed and remembered that the bed was nailed into the floor so I wouldn't move my bed in the middle of the night to a more, quote on quote, comfortable spot. Perfect! I tied the rope to the bed and then tied the other end of the rope around my waist, I then slowly climbed out the window. Once I reached the ground I was trembling, exhausted, and excited at the same time. One obstacles out of my way, but I now had to get past guards watching over the castle. I instantly knew that was going to be a bitch. I clutched what stuff I brought with me and started sneaking, Until... "Did you guys hear anything?" One of the youngest guards asked, they all nodded and all started investigating what the mysterious sound was. I cursed to myself thinking I was going to get caught. Footsteps were all around me but I seen nothing. They couldn't see me. Every time I tried to sneak out they would catch me and place me back in the castle, but this time they didn't catch me! When they went inside the castle, I hugged the bag of stuff I would need and darted out the castle gates. I felt like I'm doing something wrong but, somewhere deep inside me I felt it was the right thing to do. I'm doing it. I'm going to look for the one that I want. I'll look to East, I'll look in every direction until I find him.
